I preordered this unit in September and also received a military discount along with getting a Dyad Air all for $1260. Its the best robot I've used to date and I love the single dock design. The adaptilift allows it to go places where my other robots would get stuck. Its not perfect but its a keeper and much better than the master I had. I also use a surge protector at the plug to protect against lightning strikes. The flex arm deploys in all modes for me and the split brush design stays clean. I clean the HEPA filter every two weeks. I also use Pinalen floor cleaning solution which also limits odors in the dirty water tank. My only complaint so far is that it sees thick mats in the kitchen as thresholds from time to time forcing me to delete them on the map. Mine has received two firmware updates since I've had it.
Getting caught up in the cord would irritate me if I just spent $1,600 on it. I got the Eufy S1 Pro on sale for $999 during Prime Days and it's been great. The self cleaning roller mop is terrific as it doesn't smear the dirt but cleans the mop and stores the dirty water on board. Because of the self cleaning it also doesn't have to go back to the base to clean the mop. It has forward facing LIDAR instead of the dome on top which makes it slimmer. And it works great, along with its other sensors and camera it's never gotten stuck even when cleaning in complete darkness. It's a great robot vac and if you catch it on sale, an incredible value.
I purchased it for $1,300, but I'm still deciding whether to keep it. My main issue is that it's supposed to "jump" over all obstacles, but it struggles to do so effectively. I like the product overall, but I want to compare it to the Z and the Dream 400, as I believe they belong in the same category.
It’s so hard keep up with 800 robot vacuum flowing onto the market it’s like went from auto empty to nasa tech in just few years so many bots out rn hard pick just one 🤣
Honesty, been robot vacuum hunting for the past 2 months and I still gotten no where of whats the best for what i need. Down to three, Dreame X40 Ultra, This one and the Roborockk Qrevo master, but I heard the Dream X50 coming soon so not sure what to do 💀
It was on sale for $1200-$1300 about a month ago. I bet it will have good Black Friday deals before they come out with the new version in January that removes the mop pads.
Thanks for the unboxing and review. I'm conflicted now, I just returned my Master in hopes of buying the Curv for Black Friday. The reason I did this is it supposedly: has better roller for pet hair, bigger vacuum chamber, bigger battery. Now I'm not sure if I should get the Master again or still go Curv or hold off for the next flagship (S9 MaxV Ultra... when would that be??).
I like it but we like to use a certain floor chemical on our floors and water does not cut it. If it could use the chemical separately and use the clean water to clean after I would definitely get it.
I’ve been a big fan of Narwal since the Freo X Ultra (from Costco). I recently picked up the Freo Z and it is levels above the Freo X. My tile floors look spotless, it cleans in nice patterns starting from outside then inside hitting ever corner of my place. The object avoidance is game changing from the Freo X too. I purposely left all my charging cables on the ground and it avoids all of that. If you have dog pads on the ground, you will need to block those zones off as it doesn’t pick up dog pads. I’m not sure what the electrolyting of the water does lol. And the heating of the mop is awesome too as it doesn’t have a wet mop smell after drying. After two weeks, there is zero wet mop smell from the pads after drying. Best 1300 investment I made yet. Plus I got it from Costco so practically warranty built in
@@JustADad Hi, one more question. Maybe i missed it in your video, but do you know, how many squarre ft. does the robot manage to mop, with its onboard tank? Thanks again.
So why does this robot cost a lot of money? If he doesn't know how to avoid the cable And he doesn't know how to do a repeated wash if there are stains
lol il monte sur les cables son par choc touche 1000 fois les objets, sa brosse ne sort presque jamais, et dans les angle c’est aussi salle qu’avec un aspirateur à 200€ quel honte, il est vraiment nul ce robot aller chez dream

You void your warranty if you use something other than roborock's omo. Sounds like a great robot! :)
Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you tell me how well the dock's self cleaning performs?
God bless you kind sir for your military service 🙏 and God bless President Trump

No auto solutions dispenser?
no
Hi. So any news regarding the remop problem, is it now working ok, is it a software bugg, that will get solved?
yes the remopping is working great!

@@JustADadHi! Do you know why it didn't remop at the time of filming? Was it a setting? Thank you!
