I've moved from the Ranger to the SwissChamp.
Honestly? It's definitely weightier and thicker, but that feeling of being "too big" disappeared five minutes later.
I actually find the heft of it reassuring

Thoughts on the tinker deluxe? I have the. Champ as well, for edc the light weight of the tinker is a big plus whilst having access to pliers and the majority of the most important tools

I don't have it but I think it has a really nice combination of tools, the phillips screwdriver in the back works really good

I have a regular Tinker and the Super Tinker, for me the Super Tinker is about as fat as I'd ever want to go for edc. My edc however is the Hiker, slightly slimmer than the ST and spending lots of time in the bush I use the saw way more than the scissors. Only thing I really use the scissors for is emergency finger nail surgery, and therefore just opt to keep actual clippers in my car.

    Holaaa Saludos
Pardon me but I'd think you don't like this great tool. My swiss Champ is intended for solving problems far away from home. It is a trusty pocket tool box. You clear don't like them. Say so, and that's it.

All the meaning of the video is saying that is stronger than you think. I like it and that's why I bought it and I'm still using it.
You clearly didn't watch all the video.

P.s. if you like to take away the scratches of your saw, you can use sandpaper to polish it, start with 240 or 320 grid up to 5000 or 7000, ive done it for my knives

Yes I noticed also on mine, especially for the saw and the fish scaler. All the back tools aren't very strong, you have to be careful and push to the other side when using the reamer. Thank you for your tip about the scratches, I will try it when I will clean it again! I think the higher grids are good also for polishing the scales

@@andrewexplorespecial no problem! The lowerst grids are to scratch away the scratches hahaha like beating fire with fire and the higher you go the more polished looked it gets

I am soo sorry for the great Company Victorinox. I have a love to my Evogrip S18 and to the wonderful Huntsman. Perfect EDC‘s. But this thing could be used as a ship on the wide ocean… It is, sorry again, not useful for me. 😢

Ahahah, Yes it's a bit big sometimes. That's why I usually carry a Wenger Forester as edc
