Very interesting channel you have here. I left a subscripe and hope you continue such great videos. Few days ago I teardown my old Denon avr 2308 to give it a proper clean inside. But it's a pain in the xx to get all this boards out. The receiver has it's known issues but I don't want to throw it away, love the sound and way it works.

Interdasting. These were old 10yrs ago and you could get what were NOS units back then over here for under $100. I like how the transistors are only rated for 60w but you could guess these things had inflated power figures since the power consumption was something like 300w. The sound quality is actually pretty decent but obviously not comparable even to a middling brand name unit. Ok for a garage unit and I think even the DAC stage isnt too bad being 24/96 - good 2nd pc setup maybe? They also made a whole line up of these, the 6505, 6506 etc with minor improvements mainly to keep them relevant for sale... ie. more hdmi etc.

I have one that is a few models before this one, i did have two of them, my friend still has the second one. One was a composite video only 5.1 channel 80w x 5 DD/DTS receiver, no HDMI, and the other was a composite video / s-video with one component video, 6.1 channel 100w x6 DD EX/DTS 6.1 receiver, again no HDMI. They're quite stone aged these days, but back then they did their jobs quite fine. I was never switching video with them, they were only amping and decoding audio.
The 6.1 got replaced by a Harman/Kardon AVR347 and man.... what a f***en difference... Night and day, obviously.

Beautiful explanation, appreciable.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️🌹👍.Now i am planning to buy monitor audio bronze 6 floor standing speaker.what's ur openion about that.can u suggest any other floor standing speaker. My budget is 1500dollars.

Thank you for the question, but I'm probably not the best person to ask because I'm not the fan of floor standing speakers. I can tell you which speakers I would buy. Bowers and Wilkins CT7.3 LCRS are looking quite interesting. And my ultimate choice would be Neumann KH 420. I heard them in 7.4.6 system, that was unforgettable.

Great videos! - I'd like to contribute to your efforts. Would you be interested in doing a tear-down of the Marrantz SR-7012 AVR? I have a mint condition unit that I could send to you from Toronto Canada... How can we talk privately?
