I'm excited for the core rules, but judging from the faction articles they still balance them by throwing darts at a wall. And I hate this abstract progressive scoring that feels like armies are chasing victory coins that are just randomly showering down from the sky, not fighting for any tangible tactical or strategic benefit.

Double turns absolutely sucks. Great video, but its a miserable mechanic that only gamey people enjoy.
It allows for a change in who goes first/who goes second which is good, but the potential for piledriving your enemy into the ground is rough
