- It seems the boys have learned their lesson from the last year, and decided not to miss the Hogwarts Express' departure. Indeed, we get the first look into the Hogwarts Express in a video game yet. But instead of browsing trolley lady's wares...we'll be chasing a rat, great...
Does this mean however that we won't have to deal with the Womping Willow ever again? Foreshadowing!
The train trip serves as a tutorial, but those of you who played the previous installment will be familiar with exactly the same controls and a golden rule: Cast at everything! Casting does not impair your movement in any way, nor will it influence your character's jumping performance.
That's right, we'll also be playing as either Ron or Hermione, although...there is no strategic element involved, as the character swaps are automatic...a wasted adventure game potential. Personally, I'm very happy with how Hermione and Ron turned out, their voice acting is good as well, and they use sarcasm. Harry on the other hand...it feels like we're playing as "Polijuice-potioned Goyle" from the previous game again...

I still can't get over the fact that Flipendo, which we had known since the first game, suddenly became Depulso with the sign of Rictusempra, while Rictusempra got a sign suspiciously resembling former Diffindo.
Interesting insight thank you, surprising to see this isn't taken seriously.
Yeah, I am not too fond about it either but I try not to make a big deal out of it myself, maybe there was a reason this rearrangement had happened

I was really young when I started playing this game, I could never continue because at one point it asked me to "press the TAB key", and I didn't knew what that was, I remember my disappointment, but I played all of the Harry potter games afterwards, thank you so much for uploading this!!

This gives me so much Nostalgia because I remember playing this all the time on my PC and I'm so glad that they put that line from the book in the game!
Hermione's hair looks like blonde in this game and it's very strange that Snape is not in this game.
Along with the Rictusempra has a new symbol and that the spell with the Rictusempra symbol is now called Depulso.
Jeeze all the nostalgia, brings tears to my eyes.
Also those facial expressions top MA: Andromeda.
It must be pretty weird that Ron and hermoine are telling harry to use mouse keys to use magic
Mouse buttons*. Keys are only on the keyboard.

Depulso: flipendo for teens with rictusempra signs.
I never known why the change of signs, flipendo was the same 2 gsmes. Alohomora 3 games
There are a few things I don’t understand:
1. Why they changed flipendo to dupolso.
2. Why rictusempra has a new symbol and why they gave dupolso rictusempra's old one.
3. Why this game does not feature Skurge or Diffindo.
4. Why the symbols of Lumos and Spongify are reflected.
Maybe it is just the facial animation being dodgy as heck, but the trio seems awfully happy-go-lucky about the fact that there's an escaped murderer who's supposedly targeting Harry.

I don't like that they replaced flipendo with depulso, also they used game 2's rictusempra symbol for it so had to give that spell a new 1

Nox Yeah they're different. But they're not revolutionary. They look very similar. My point is that back in the day this looked like next generation top notch graphics. And now looking back it looks different.

While I never played the PC version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, I did play the GBA version. Course the PC version looks good as well.

It should run on Windows 10 in Compatibility mode for Windows 7. Make a torrent search, or try GOG.com. If neither works, try eBay.

Has anyone ever been able to find all the wizard cards in this game? I did it, but in the two first games I couldn't all cards because it was so hard.
starlight992 I have. Some are obviously harder to find than others, but trying to cast spells on anything that looks castable will reveal secrets. If you find all of them in the main set and get the Harry card, you get a special bean bonus room round to find the Hogwarts founders cards.
i only get most but i knew the big one in the twins shop is harry potter

Shut up is a great game
All the games screw up important plot points to keep moving faster. Sorcerer's Stone cuts the forbidden Forest bit, and even though I never played Chamber of Secrets on PC, I'm sure it cut a bunch of story stuff too.

@@elephant35e Well, the basilisk falls over the diary and destroys it, and the bludger part is featured in the last quidditch game vs slytherin. Apart from those two, the rest is correct
@@elephant35e Well, that consequences of the buldger aren´t shown but at least we get the chase with the snitch. I just realized that the jinxed bludger isn´t in that part of the game, my bad!
