Potato King you don't get pans you get a 3 course MRE bag 1 for each meal and a hand warmer like system to heat it, although I do think they make couple where for soldiers to carry, so yeah probably wasn't military issue XD
Bubble Double Bish that pan literally says CHINA on the handle, nothing western or high quality about it. Garbage chinesium pan makes test inaccurate 0/10 #this_is_not_science
And when you say Russian, you mean Soviet pan. Those were thick and made purely out of metal. If one of those falls, when you are cooking, it's guaranteed that it won't receive any damage at all (except for the floor it falls on)
The video was simply amazing! Short, no useless stuff to increase time, straight to the point, interesting, informational and the filming was good too. Love it! Why can’t TH-cam have more producers like these
I was thinking the same thing. That must not have been like the old cast iron pans we used to use. The old ones would never have fractured like that one did. They would have atleast made like a cone exit hole. Not fractured clean like his did
killercaos123 its cast iron, its meant to be hard and inflexible, that's why is shattered hear, most likely wont make any difference, stopping bullets is very tricky business, more often flexibility or layered armor is your friend, not hard brittle metal.
HE shot the bullet, and the bullet missed the watermelon. He is not subverting the blame of missing the watermelon, just stating a fact. Get off your high horse, dipwad.
there IS a big muthahucka steel pans that would stop a bullet. actually I will go now and fry some potatoes in a similar one. but this regular black pan made of cast iron cant do a thing, it is too fragile because of carbon
rsethc you'll take a concussion, possible brain damge, and a chance of death over just getting surely put out? since a head shot is generally fatal, id take certain death over brain damage. idk maybe thats just me..
Cast iron pan dude...the ones they used in the 20s-40s this pan probably doesn’t even weigh a pound and not 2 millimeters thick. Real cast iron skillets weigh 5-10 pounds
That's like verifying what direction objects drop when you let go of them. If a .45 ACP round (which has next to no penetration abilities) fired from a handgun can go through, just about every other military cartridge can as well.
Originally they just wanted to make the pan grenade-proof to hit them away. The next day they realised this also made the pan bulletproof and they let this "feature" in the game as a gag
Lol, literally the only thing better about vintage cast iron is the smooth cooking surface and seasoning that only comes with age. The more use/heat cast iron has seen it is more prone to cracks. Not to mention the fact that vintage cast irons have thinner walls and and lighter than modern versions. My #5 and #8 unmarked vintage skillets skillets are noticeably lighter than their modern counterparts. I'm all about vintage cast iron but that is misinformation.
Are people actually retarded enough to suggest a thicker pan? M8, the thicket pan in the world won't stop multiple gun shots, you think the Militaries of the world would keep developing bulletproof vests if old pans made any difference whatsoever?! My god people are stupid.
Actually, older cast iron skillets have thinner walls than most made today. Souuce: I have cast iron skillets that are older than me and passed down from my grandmother as well as some that I have purchased. Just go look at the difference between a vintage Griswold and a modern Lodge. Modern skillets are also heavier.

George they keep developing vest and such to be lighter and more effective. If weight want an issue a thicker pan would work. Maybe a couple inches thick.
And if the piston isn't perfectly positioned in the cylinder (basically rodnock) it will shoot out the side of the block and leave a massive gaping hole. Semi trucks use massively thick engine blocks but Ive still seen them knock a hole in the block when something goes wrong and dump out there insides on the pavement.
John F. Kennedy you should have taken this kind of pan when you went out in the crowd. Your wife wouldn't have to pick up peices of your brain everywhere in the car
No iron pan could resist in my opinion. If you think cast iron is comparable to steel in terms of strength then you are mistaken. Unhardened steel would most likely resist better than cast iron. yes because a magazine-less an ammo-less gun will suddenly create a bullet out of nothing and discharge it at you... i get gun regulation and safety, but there's literally nothing to fear, i fucking hate it when people overreact like that, there's no way possible that gun at that point would have killed/hurt anyone

The it pen'd and I said, bullshit. Either that or "they don't make cast iron like they used too"... lol.
Just like anything else, it looks weak when shot. It probrobrably was the normal cast iron or whatever it was. You might have thought this because the bullet causes it to vibrate/ripple.
I would be tempted to agree for consistency and to eliminate a variable (however small) but the next two guns fire faster than the 1911. The 92 uses a lighter bullet but the speed it fires at still causes it to impact with a lot more energy (about 909 Joules more). And if the first could break it with less energy, the others most definitely will.
iWeaKSidE Eh probably not, it doesn't go any faster than 9mm and it's like 1/3 the weight of 9mm. 30gr is fast enough but I'm not sure about the weight. Possibly. It would at least crack it.
Hayley T Cast Iron, may be able to stop a Beretta (depends which and grain in bullet) but it can’t stop a .45 Auto or a 7.62x54R. Also, Cast Iron is a strong as fuck metal, but it’s also very brittle.
brad fin no it really isn't a normal cast iron pan. The one I have is way thicker than this one. All my cast iron cooking items are thicker than this thing is even close to being. This pan is like a cooking sheet. Thin and mostly useless
Ian Ivey cast iron is a brittle metal if you shot a normal steel pan it would not create a huge hole in it because steel is not brittle. Cast iron has larger crystalline structure making it harder but more brittle. Meaning sudden shock will make it shatter as shown in the video. Why do you think we use steel in body armor and not cast iron
all the parts in my pc are made in USA. a nice German titanium pan would do good though. theres a reason a large amount of things are made in china and that reason is that its cheap. materials used are also probably cheap unless its a rich company (not name brand just rich)
30$ Woods camping pan... okay then. Now try with a real pan, and try with 1 pan per shot instead of using the same weakened and damaged one. You know, science instead of whatever the hell I just watched.
When you bought the pan, did you buy it in the bulletproof section? I think that may be the problem here, anyone with common sense knows you gotta ask for bulletproof kitchen utensils. Smh, some people 😤😤😤
Are people actually retarded enough to suggest a thicker pan? M8, the thicket pan in the world won't stop multiple gun shots, you think the Militaries of the world would keep developing bulletproof vests if old pans made any difference whatsoever?! My god people are stupid.

Use old cast iron pans. They are 3 times as thick and better quality.
The thickness wouldn't really help at all. Its the nature of the cast iron pan itself, the metal in cast iron pans is hard but brittle.
Max Petersson this looked like some non stick Walmart pans
Are people actually retarded enough to suggest a thicker pan? M8, the thicket pan in the world won't stop multiple gun shots, you think the Militaries of the world would keep developing bulletproof vests if old pans made any difference whatsoever?! My god people are stupid.
George they keep developing vest and such to be lighter and more effective. If weight want an issue a thicker pan would work. Maybe a couple inches thick.

cast iron is brittle i doubt it would make that much of a difference

I'm sure it will be a lot more durable even if it were a 1/4 thicker, after all they used to make car engines & heads out of the stuff.
i've shot engine blocks before theyre are not very bullet proof at all the components in the engine is what stops the rounds i shot at it.
And if the piston isn't perfectly positioned in the cylinder (basically rodnock) it will shoot out the side of the block and leave a massive gaping hole. Your test is invalid. You should have used multiple pans 🙈 at least 1 for each gun. The structure of the pan is compromised after 1 shut
If the slowest bullet went through, then of course the faster ones will too. And before you say it, yes he should have used thicker pans
Elliott Hog not always. Just because the bullet is faster doesn't mean much.

Hayley T Cast Iron, may be able to stop a Beretta (depends which and grain in bullet) but it can’t stop a .45 Auto or a 7.62x54R. Also, Cast Iron is a strong as fuck metal, but it’s also very brittle.
Castiron will surely ricochet the bulet...
Pubg Pan is made of dark matter alright
no it is made of Bavarium
no its vibranium
Nope.... The PUBG PAN are Made from various layers of strong materials such as Titanium, carbon nanotubes and High compressed of steel rubber
LOL when he says " watermelon friend " 😍
Kids in Africa could have eaten that Kar98
Andreas Achilleos they could have eaten that melon
Legandary Psycho Don't be stupid. Humans can't eat melons.
xhandxofxhonorx what are you even talking about dude. Both of your comments make no sense
i almost choked when i read this. Have a like
Andreas Achilleos lol 😂😂😂
The Kar98 was introduced in 1898. The k (kurz = short) version is just a modified version.
Dayun The Gewehr 98 was introduced in 1898. The Kar98k was the retooling and redesignation of the rifle.
Dayun the K98 was introduced in the thirties it's a carabine version of the Gewerh98
Godspeed, Watermelon friend! He was good, Real good. Maybe even the best!
Soldiers line (tf2)
Wrong game but they both have pans
"COME HERE, CUPCAKE!"
Isn't "godspeed" a reference to star wars most recent movie
Dion recunyk no
I'm glad this guy knows the difference between a kar98k and a Mosin Nagant
dude shooting the already broken pan dosnt help. also that was a thin cast iron pan
it's just a normal cast iron pan actually
brad fin no it really isn't a normal cast iron pan. The one I have is way thicker than this one. All my cast iron cooking items are thicker than this thing is even close to being. This pan is like a cooking sheet. Thin and mostly useless
Lanndan Morrison doesn't really matter since cast iron is brittle compared to steel.
brad fin are you fucking dense?!
Ian Ivey cast iron is a brittle metal if you shot a normal steel pan it would not create a huge hole in it because steel is not brittle. Cast iron has larger crystalline structure making it harder but more brittle. Meaning sudden shock will make it shatter as shown in the video. Why do you think we use steel in body armor and not cast iron
not proved. you use a shitty usa frying pan, you need a cast-iron Soviet frying pan!
Алексей Никитенко no dude, it will reflect and will kill you
Rocket Bunny which is what we need to prove)
Алексей Никитенко Actual US made pans are high quality, this is cheap chinese junk probably bought at walmart.
the pan literally said china on it...
do they make it with stopping bullets in mind?
You need a new pan for each cal.
jond2614 it wouldn’t make a difference
Well, doing all of these with the same pan is like striking a fissured window to see if it breaks.
How are you going to get accurate results against a broken pan that you’ve already shot multiple times and expect it to hold up?
Buy Germany pan not Chinese pan
German pan is shit, russian pan made out of recycled T-34 tanks is the shit!
Skypeg but in finland we made pans out of Nokia 3310
Pootis bird 😂
IDRIS SNAKE i think PUBG has Finnish pans
In America you shoot pan, In Soviet Russia pan shoot you
ima kunt bruhh lol
ima kunt bruhh xd
ima kunt bruhh What is this, 2012?
old joke bro not that funny
hcmcjb funny to me idk y
Nigga didn't even use a new pan every time
Because it's irrelevant.
Cast iron is too hard and too brittle.
Welcome to reality.
Too bad this particular pan says CHINA on the handle.
ill put money the pc / laptop your using now is mostly made in china :D hell most things are from china
all the parts in my pc are made in USA. a nice German titanium pan would do good though. theres a reason a large amount of things are made in china and that reason is that its cheap. materials used are also probably cheap unless its a rich company (not name brand just rich)
lmao all parts made in usa :D :D dont make me laugh
Imagine if he accidentally shoot the camera that the the pan instead of Watermelon Friend.
Bro this is not Tactical Pan of course its not bulletproof
It's black man, of course it's tactical.
In russia watermelones protecting pans..
in russia gun shoot you. wait...
Pirmin Scheffold in cyka blyat Russia melon fight in war for pan rights
30$ Woods camping pan... okay then. Now try with a real pan, and try with 1 pan per shot instead of using the same weakened and damaged one. You know, science instead of whatever the hell I just watched.
I was hoping for testing different pans and using one shot per pan as well
the man made a statement...he's actually right, they should've used more pans then just one.
Don’t think this was ever toted as a scientific experiment... just a video for fun. Now go back to loving on a shit game, fan boy
Calm down
sounds like a flat earther to me
Best Quote of the year, "I hope you guys enjoyed watching this as much I enjoyed making this video"
we don't pick up the cheapest shittiest pan from the dollar store in the game though.
This player hacks the GAME
Admins, do your job
When you bought the pan, did you buy it in the bulletproof section? I think that may be the problem here, anyone with common sense knows you gotta ask for bulletproof kitchen utensils. Smh, some people 😤😤😤
You didn't properly season the pan! That's why it wasn't as effective.
Of course! I knew we forgot something...
What if you didn't use a cheap Ozark Trail pan though?
Are people actually retarded enough to suggest a thicker pan? M8, the thicket pan in the world won't stop multiple gun shots, you think the Militaries of the world would keep developing bulletproof vests if old pans made any difference whatsoever?! My god people are stupid.
George Yes idiot, they would. Armor is LIGHTER than a freaking cast iron body suit. By orders of magnitude.
you are literally stupid as f***k
A thicker pan is much better at stop bullets because it is much heavier than a vest
