One of my core memories is getting to see the Hannah Montana movie. My aunt surprised me by taking me right after I got out of school for spring break and as someone who had even been Hannah for Halloween it was the height of my life.
When I found out that Miley liked Drag when she appeared on ‘Drag Race’, I understood the cultural significance and queer subtext of the show even more. I wish I watched more of it because it was the ultimate show for teens and tweens.
I have such a positive core memory with this movie. This was the first movie my cousins and I (all girls around the same age) went to go see and we were surprised with it! So I have very fond memories with this movie 🥰
Miley is not playing the superbowl because a lot of middle America just knows her as the Disney kid that "went wild." Rather than seeing a girl grow up and an artist transform, they see her as a cautionary tale for weed. There would be a Dylan Mulvaney level tantrum if she was announced to play the superbowl.

I took my niece to see this movie the day it came out, it was one of the best little auntie/niece hangs ever. The only downside was that during the literal moment she reveals to the whole town that she's actually Miley Stewart, my niece needed to pee, so we missed part of it.

I had a Hannah Montana themed birthday party when I turned 10 because that's when the movie came out in theaters. Me and like 5 of my girlfriends went and saw the movie in theaters and then went to my house and we had a Hannah Montana dress up party. My mom had hired a lady to bring in a bunch of child sized sparkly Disney Channel type clothes and Hannah wigs, and we all had a blast performing as her to all our parents. I can't believe Kelsey, my literal savior, has never seen HM before?!?!?!

I went and saw the Hannah Montana movie in theaters, and there was a thunderstorm while I was there with my friend, which made the power went out for about a minute! That true Texas experience haha. I went to see it because I loved Hannah Montana. That show was a defining moment of my childhood haha.
