    Dude thank you so much for this video. I’ve got a 84’ ZN700A kawi and I finally found the part that’s called and then I found this video and now I’m feeling a lot more confident with hopefully fixing this leak by next week. Thank you so much!

    It really applies to any 2 stroke with seals that don't have locking lips. You just have to look up if your engine has a locking seal or not.

    next time, drill a hole in the '' metal part '' of the seal, screw a wood srew in that hole and pull with a pair of plier , more easy for remove the old seal

      SuperNintendoSam There is a reason I don't drill which I stated in the video, but whatever works for you is good.

    I have same issue, but an other issue oil goes half after running long route 400km. Is it due to this ? As bike don't give smoke of burning oil.

    • @johnnydanger57
      @johnnydanger57  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If that much oil is gone, and it's not all over the outside of the motor, then it would have to be a bad right hand seal and being burned.

    hi sorry i also commented on your other vid about crank seals. My crank seal is just like yours in this video, is it the same procedure if I were to replace it?
    thanks

    @johnnydanger57  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't see why not. I haven't done one on a 90 yet, so I'm not certain.

    Hi, great video! I have a Kawasaki ninja 250 2012, and I have a little leaking over the shifter, and I think is the seal that you changed in the video, but I cannot find that seal on any store in my country, so I wanted to buy it online, but I don't know exactly how to look for it. Do you have any idea how could I look for it on ebay or amazon? Thanks! nice work!

    how do replace shifter shaft myn broke off ?

    • @johnnydanger57
      @johnnydanger57  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ann Taggart Get a manual, the shaft usually goes across the motor, so you will have to remove a cover and most likely the clutch to replace the shifter shaft.

    Just Google kawasaki part numbers. There should be a site to look up the number.

    • @johnnydanger57
      @johnnydanger57  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The seal? Seal kits are all over E bay and most all triple part suppliers. If you want just one seal. partzilla should be a source.

    Try using a scribe to puncture the metal seal portion then use a small sheet metal screw type seal puller. Way safer and easier. shopping.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=91838&c=3541855&h=70a2075ef38018f5fa0e
