4:26 I know it’s an old clip but it’s extremely out of touch. Racism (old and new forms) very much exists in our society. A white couple are currently facing a trial for trafficking and enslaving their 5 adopted black children. Their living conditions and treatment were akin to chattle slavery. Racism is not extinct. The racists (their children and grandchildren) during the Civil Rights movement are still alive today. They were raised by post-reconstruction/segregation racists, whom were raised by pre-civil war racists, slave owners, traders and hunters. Our policing system stems from “slave patrols” whom then went on to harass and brutalize migrant workers of latin and asian descent. 100 years is a small amount of time and it hasn’t even been a century since the Civil Rights movement.

Yeah Mike Tyson did6 years... The case was questionable, but yes convicted for sure 😢
