    You can pressure cook dry beans for one hour. No soaking necessary.

    Hi, I really enjoyed seeing you showing us how to prepare the red beans but I have a question though. After soaking the beans for 4 - 8 hours, can we pressure cook the beans instead of cooking them for an hour? If yes, how many whistles does it take to get them cooked? Anyway, thanks a lot for the video :-)

    Why dont you add in pandan leaf or rose flavour into your red beans while boiling them and little bit of red coloring.

    Thanks, I was worried my paste was too liquidy and I had added water since it was jamming my food processor. I see that I just have to wait ----update: yup it firmed

    My red bean paste is quite moist is not as dry as yours. What can I do to make it a bit dryer cause is hard to make into shape as it is quite moist but not watery.

    What is purpose of adding salt?

    • @mosesb.5750
      @mosesb.5750 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It brings out the flavor (in this case, the sweetness) of any dish, sweet or savory. That's why you notice salt in the ingredients list of store bought food.🙂
