I remember this ride! I went on it once in Tasmania, Australia. It's a quite rare ride here in Australia but it's definitely a good one.

This ride was released in 1993.

These rides are extremely common; the blue version of this ride is a little uncommon.

This is one of the rides at one of the malls I plan on visiting during my vacation next week, but going from what I saw on Instagram, the rocket has a yellow finish. Maybe it was repainted?

This is definitely the only colour this was originally sold in so any other variant would be a repaint. Thunderbirds is very similar to this but that's grey.

Speaking of color variants, do you know Jolly Roger ever made a green-colored variant of the Richard Scarry Apple Car? I have seen a few pictures of those, but I am not sure 100-percent if they were refurbished rides...

This one is weird as I feel sure I DID film that ride. :/ I wonder what happened to the film?

Only the red one like the one in Filey as far as I'm aware. No "tall" rockets like this one.

What do you remember about the one in Filey.

I also heard "Press START now!" on a few R.G. Mitchell Thomas & Friends rides.

I also heard that, but didn't go there

+Rebecca Taylor It sounds a bit scary the press start now voice

+Rebecca Taylor It wasn't on all of the larger Thomas rides. As you can see in cool kiddie rides' "nrm Thomas" video, they used the second start button announcement. The same one was commonly used in mini Thomas as well, though the third one was sometimes used too. The ride I went on played the same "PRESS START NOW!" announcement. Other rides that used this include all of the Jimbo and the Jet Set rides, and the Toytown Police & Post vehicles. :)

I thought it said "lift off now!", this was in my home town in a holiday camp, it freaked me out because of the voice and the way it moves, my one was broken though, giving free rides! I called it the "Lift Off Now Rocket" because of this!

It kinda sounds like "lift off now", and it would have been good to hear on a rocket. It's actually "press start now", and it sounds like "lift off now" because of the muffled audio. By the way, the one you saw may not have been broken, it could have been set to "free mode" by mistake. Free Mode allows endless free rides, but that would have been great!
