Supposedly, if you sequence-broke to get to the ice palace in Dragon Blazers without a certain party member, you'd be stuck in a maze forever. However, Noelle somehow has the ability to find a mysterious grey door in the maze if she gets into the right state of mind. This, too, is an endless maze that the player accessed by sequence breaking, and the player was able to find a strange door leading them to probably Gaster with Noelle in the party.

There is a variable in the files specifically referring to ,,threat level" that is determined by how many times you back out from the prompt ,,Then it would be Destroyed " in Ch1. Do this 10 times (aka get the threat level to 10) and the ,,voice in the code" will tell you ,,Very Interesting ".
I cannot stress how tense I was while Kris and Noelle were silently navigating the maze of the school hallways, and then my cat jumped on my laptop out of the darkness and scared the cheese whiz out of me.

I've been hearing alot of concerning things about the trout population recently. I wonder what's up with them. and it took me way too long to realize that the Secret School Backrooms Maze was a reference to the Ice Palace maze Noelle talked about. (so THIS is why we can't hang out with her in the light world.)
@@KiraJ-ru7ll what worked for me was looking at a key of all caps wingdings, writing out the full alphabet (or a slightly modified version to make it easier to write/draw quickly on paper) a few time, then practicing writing out messages-first with a key then from memory. it's also helpful if you have some unfamiliar text in wingdings you can practice translating-like this video-but that's a bit more difficult to do/find. genuinely it took me like an hour one evening to learn the caps wingdings. that's kinda all you need. if you want reading them to not take forever, then you probably need to practice using/recalling them more than that-but truly it's not that bad to learn!

The idea of using the hidden threat variable as a replacement for the Fun values is very interesting, and something i could see be used in the actual game. It at least makes it easy for the player to change their value without having to do file manipulation

Why do they even think of the threat value? They walked through the maze school with such confidence, like they knew where to go. They seem to be frustrated/confused at a couple dead ends. I'd love to know where winds got this info.
i find it very noteworthy that when the player first steps out of bounds, a weird route jingle plays, especially since they enter a maze that seems to parallel the dragon blazers maze noelle mentioned in the spamton sweepstakes....also the water fountain for tall people bit is really funny
amazing idea. the entire concept of the school being the breeding ground for “threat” or “fun” events in general is very plausible. the darkness has obviously already begun to infect the school, and the computer lab of the library, mostly thus far getting to the students, so the school would be a very possible place for events like these to occur. i think too that due to us having little knowledge on the true nature of the darkness in deltarune, it makes things more interesting to theorize and create content for. this is really interesting, keep it up 😮

There is a variable in the files specifically referring to ,,threat level" that is determined by how many times you back out from the prompt ,,Then it would be Destroyed " in Ch1. Do this 10 times (aka get the threat level to 10) and the ,,voice in the code" will tell you ,,Very Interesting ".

@@KiraJ-ru7ll what worked for me was looking at a key of all caps wingdings, writing out the full alphabet (or a slightly modified version to make it easier to write/draw quickly on paper) a few time, then practicing writing out messages-first with a key then from memory. it's also helpful if you have some unfamiliar text in wingdings you can practice translating-like this video-but that's a bit more difficult to do/find. genuinely it took me like an hour one evening to learn the caps wingdings. that's kinda all you need. if you want reading them to not take forever, then you probably need to practice using/recalling them more than that-but truly it's not that bad to learn!

amazing idea. the entire concept of the school being the breeding ground for “threat” or “fun” events in general is very plausible. the darkness has obviously already begun to infect the school, and the computer lab of the library, mostly thus far getting to the students, so the school would be a very possible place for events like these to occur. i think too that due to us having little knowledge on the true nature of the darkness in deltarune, it makes things more interesting to theorize and create content for. this is really interesting, keep it up 😮
