You lack the information necessary to succeed in a competitive market, not because you're doing anything wrong, but rather because of your lack of experience.

And Becky Quick does a brilliant job - asking the right questions and then listening without interrupting. So different from the interviewers we usually see on TV, the kind that are constantly interrupting the speaker.
Some day a a public figure will do something assenign and I'll think to myself "i can't wait to hear Charlie's take is on this" and he won't be here anymore.
I like the way Munger and Buffet maintain an objective, and nonpartisan stance when it comes to finance. Becky is always trying to pull them into political conversation and affiliation, but they're too smart for that. Obviously a good business-person knows how to capitalize in any economy.
Huge respect for Charlie, but from my personal experience in California - would be interested to see what happens if 'rich' people/companies leave - I think they have created terrible living conditions where people are efficiently separated from any sort of wealth - workers do not get proportionate compensation for their efforts and much of the remainder is paid towards unreasonable living costs.

Superman! This man is my idol and mentor!
Charlie Munger made me appreciate Obama's admiration decision to bail out the big banks a little more. But I still think Obama should have done more.
Wow!! That's plain-speaking at its very best. He is so unafraid of saying it like it is. Sagacious!
And Becky Quick does a brilliant job - asking the right questions and then listening without interrupting. So different from the interviewers we usually see on TV, the kind that are constantly interrupting the speaker.
Becky Quick is a great interviewer, lets the guest speak and share value. Love Charlie Mungers honesty and wisdom 😎👍
Thank you Charlie. If you wanted you could just not write books nor do interviews. But you choose to give us your insights and hard work.
Some day a a public figure will do something assenign and I'll think to myself "i can't wait to hear Charlie's take is on this" and he won't be here anymore.
Good interviewer with many excellent questions.
I like the way Munger and Buffet maintain an objective, and nonpartisan stance when it comes to finance.
Becky is always trying to pull them into political conversation and affiliation, but they're too smart for that. Obviously a good business-person knows how to capitalize in any economy.
Legend
A man that always tells it like it is! Thank you Becky and CNBC!
👍🏻👍🏻
He's not just a clever man...he's also a wise man. A very wise man.
Thank you for the interview!
"How old were you when you figured this out?"...."About seven." Perfect.
"once a lawyer always a lawyer correct?" "not really!" LOL
😂😂
awkward
Huge respect for Charlie, but from my personal experience in California - would be interested to see what happens if 'rich' people/companies leave - I think they have created terrible living conditions where people are efficiently separated from any sort of wealth - workers do not get proportionate compensation for their efforts and much of the remainder is paid towards unreasonable living costs.
I like most of the interview except where when he started feeling sorry for the rich very out of touch but to be expected with someone like him
Imagine the level of rationale he has when it comes to issues and having that mindset of the world at a young level
Gotta love Charlie's wisdom/insight !
He is awesome 👏🏻!! Can’t thank enough!
He'll be dearly missed when he's gone
Charlie Munger is the only billionaire I've ever talked to on the phone. That was back in January 2016.
I was expecting his personal assistant to answer the phone and was shocked when "Charlie" answered..when I called back a few days later..he answered the phone himself again. Pretty cool!!
what was the conversation about?
