Different people, different goal, if you are happy doing what you are doing, it’s fantastic, enjoy and have fun !!

Always enjoy your video. I worked for 30 years and another 5 years to go - while building my DBS porfolio. Actually given the Iran and Israel’s situation , I am waiting on the sidelines to add substantial more into DBS again which I believe the price will come down now till the bonus share adjustment. Yes FIRE , my favourite word - fire my boss, fire my $ to buy more and finally FIRE to rest and enjoy all I want to do
You are a good role model. 💯 People shouldn't work for only 20 years and retire like AK. Bad AK! 🙊
@@A.Singaporean.Stocks.Investor. I wish I started like you much earlier on dividend investing , I only started when I was 45 and
that was 10 years ago, keeping buying using my annual bonus and reinvesting the dividend to what the current size is which I know will even be more substantial in 5 years’ time using my method. I do enjoy my corporate job too but I strongly advocate everyone to consider investing for dividends so as not to be held ransom by our employers. In fact because I have sizable annual dividends , I did even better in my corporate job as my confidence in life shone strongly and don’t give a FXCK to anyone.
@@kevinho4504 Work because we want to and not because we have to. 💯
I did not have a high paying job. So, investing for income was my way to get out of the rat race.

For people who have a job that pays very well, they might not even have to invest. They just need to be better at saving money.

I read something interesting from a book(7 habits of highly effective people)which i think its good to share here, it says the general public is more interested in entertainment over to education and rather spend money to fix their health than to maintain it, if we spend more money in maintaining our health and learning more stuff rather than entertainment and trying to fix problems after they arise, thats the best investment we can make for ourselves
I remember that book. Good read. 💯
The sound quality on this video is horrible. There is this rustling and ruffling in the background that makes it really hard to hear.
😱😱😱
@@A.Singaporean.Stocks.Investor. AK, probably the ceiling fan that blowing into the mike. Happen to some of us during zoom. So maybe to note the fan /wind direction.☺
@@harryteo7654 You are right! I had the fan blowing in my face because it was so warm. 😅
Mine is the Yahagi (Agano-class cruiser)
Oh, I don't have that ship but I was told that the Agano is a very competent cruiser. I am scared stiff of its torpedoes.😅 We should form a division sometime. ☺
You can definitely afford to retire on cruise ship...not sure if it is offered in Singapore, but you'll just have to fly once to get to the cruise.
Imagine seeing the sights of the world, changing on a weekly basis for the rest of your live...
You can still game and do your investments on the cruise.
I will have to give this some serious consideration when I become an orphan. 🙊
I understand that retirement onboard the cruise ship is a viable option as well.
Something to think about. 😁
nice personal rant. seems like you are entering a phase in life where you are finding/discovering meaningful raison detre?
I don't know what phase it is 🤔. I very confused. 😅
hi, this round the closing a bit different, normally you will say : if AK can talk to himself ,so can you ... and i also like the opening : hi everybody, this is AK, i am back ....😄( now you know i am your fans)
This is the original closing from my blog. 😊 the one that goes 'if AK can talk to himself' is only a few months old. 😋 welcome to ASSI 👋
This warship is very cute. It has cartoon characters at the sides above the water.
I got several copies of this camouflage from a recent in game event. Totally free.🥳 White color makes the ship bright and the toons are cheerful 😊
AK, I can safely say that the reason you’re able to keep lifestyle inflation low is because you don’t have a wife. In my experience, once pay goes up, wife/gf expectation also go up. And if you have a kid, AK you’ll be working like the rest of us now 😂
Make the wife work! 🤣DINK FTW! 🙊
@@A.Singaporean.Stocks.Investor. piss her off and boom! halved plus alimony 🤣
Good personal choice. I have a wife and child and I can say my retirement goals are so far away.
Truth be told there are things money can’t buy just be satisfied of your own personal decisions
@@carnesir All of us spend money but we might not spend it the same way. 💯
