imo the art style and animation wasn’t that bad in odyssey, i just wish the story was good n the gameplay was better. also the open world is pretty dead.
The biggest issue with Odyssey was the gameplay. Same goes with World Seeker for that matter. I'd honestly take something like the Ultimate Ninja Storm games over what we got with those two TBH.

I have a genuine question since it is the same developers as Naruto Mobile (CN). Will this game only release in China? This game just like Naruto Mobile is also an officially licensed game and backed up by Bandai Namco so why is it only available in China? Not even Japan not even Oda himself can play this game because there is not even a Japanese version of the game. I really wonder why that is? The game literally has fully voice acted scenes with the original japanese voice cast which is exclusively recorded just for this game. How does this make sense? I hope it comes out globally and if it ever does it will really be a miracle.

@@an_riin Yeah I have not been able to play the official licensed naruto mobile. I currently have an English unlicensed version of the game, but it is shutting down after tonight due to them not having the official license.

But how does this style of cutscene animation work? Do you mask parts of the anime's scenes, put them into layers to create depth, and add the 3D models between layers (which would explain the anime smoke/debris effect)?
