Renault Megane mk3 Battery Charging Fault and Alternator Replacement

Hey guys in this week video we are working on my own car a Renault Megane mk3 with a battery charging fault warning on the dash.
The other night when i was driving the battery charging fault warning came on and after about 5 miles i started having issues with the power steering , abs , and also other faults started appearing pretty much telling me that i was losing communication with modules due to the lower battery voltage, I was lucky to be able to pull into the drive only just...
Now i drive this Renault Megane regularly and i have noticed noises from the alternator and the headlights flickering , it was in the back of my mind that this alternator was going to fail sooner or later , apologies about not getting any diagnosis tests done which i know quite a lot of you enjoy but the battery was on charge enabling me to do any tests and i was pretty confident that the alternator was the culprit here as i have been watching it closely, and also its a commercial vehicle that i try to keep it on the road as much as i can so i had to get on with it apologies again...
Anyway i hope you guys get something out of it, i was asked about an alternator replacement in this Megane the other day and funny enough few weeks later this happens i think the viewer JINX IT only joking 😂😂😂👍
The new alternator cost me £206.
