When I was younger I used to play evil for every single choice in pretty much every game, now that I'm older my sith warrior (main) is now a more honorable and humble soldier rather than a threatening and dominating warlord, I always play a more nuanced sith, loyal to the empire but not bloodthirsty, always reciprocate respect and honor noble foes, but always go for the kill when facing dishonorable and two faced enemies, never got into the RP aspect too much but still love making little decisions through his character outline
I like playing DS characters but doing LS choices , it really gives the game a different perspective , I was just never able to make myself be truly evil , although sometimes zapping NPC's is fun lol.

recently started a sith sorc and today i had to run through a lot of rebel slaves…i zapped several groups, then felt bad so i just ran past as they tried to murder me

I love this game. It’s a breath of fresh air in terms of good Star Wars games. It proves that EA aren’t the only ones that can make good franchise titles.
A trooper using a blaster pistol has been my dream for soooo damn long. The game even teases you by showing you the trooper class using a blaster pistol in cutscenes.
Well, whenever you shoot someone/something in a cutscene, your Trooper will always use a default pistol. :D
same with the agent 😭
7 months later but you can do that now with the latest patch. Agent can too

You have a very creative mindset when it comes to your characters. Very detailed.
I love creating little back stories for my characters. Nothing to this extent but usually a general feel of a character. If its a bounty hunter, do they value money, always finishing the job, or maybe just doing the laziest job possible? do they like the Mando's armor or do they do their own thing, their own style. Stuff like that for each class. It usually plays into the overall style of what they wear and what alignment they go for. Makes replaying the stories a bit more engaging.
This exactly what I do and ever since 7.0 came out it’s way easier now
For one of my characters named Jaru Akarii, He is a human male that was born on Taris, At the age of 7, He foolishly decided to poop on a sleeping raghoul. Consequently, The Raghoul woke up and was ticked off and bite his Butt off. Afterwards, Jaru attempted to use a knife against the Raghoul, But the Raghoul used a Uno reverse card and had the knife cut Jaru’s chin. afterwards Jaru ran away and joined the Jedi upon having the force. He had a scar on his chin and the 25th Hair option, And 5th Hair color. And he became a Jedi consular to increase his potent force skills so he can use the force to create a new butt.

I do so adore putting the red and black dye onto Jedi Knight Revan's armor. It looks SOOOO amazing to wear on Inquisitors!

They're wonderful characters! Sounds like you put a lot of thought into them, great job.
I got some backstories for my characters too, kinda been writing about them for a few and how they connect with each other. My own made up story but also keeping it simple and connected to Swtor, the only difference is... the higher chapters aren't similar and each character has their own path. It is fun being creative in star wars, but I'm not a very good writer so it is just for fun.
My favorite character so far is a twi'lek smuggler called Na'til, she was a slave before and had lost her arm and legs during those dark times. Thankfully she was saved by a kind sith, one of my other characters called Za'thuul. Long story short, they have been traveling together for a bit before going their own way.

Roleplaying within SWToR has been a creative treasure chest for me. It is interesting to hear your works with your characters and it really invigorates me to continue with my own. But there aren't really many people who enjoy any type of roleplay in the EU servers...

I'm a bit new to swtor only been playing for like 6 months now haven't joined any guilds yet and I play solo most the time but I'm so happy I'm not the only one that creates back stories to all there characters

I actually decided to start playing SWTOR because of your videos and decided to sub last month. Made my first lvl 80 sorcer/marauder and currently building my Juggernaut. I still have a lot to learn like crafting and proper gearing. I'll try to look into that this Christmas.
I just finished about 2 hours ago the Jedi Knight storyline, which I saved for last. So two hours ago I finally got Legendary status on my account! I celebrated by posting pictures on my FB to my friends showing my characters and explaining how they are all connected under the Starbreaker legacy. It's really neat that you posted this today and I only saw it after I made my FB post!

Awesme characters! I always give my characters different color schemes and different outfits/armors to have their unique appearence.
Also, being a roleplayer, they have their different outfits for when they fight and for when they are on the ship or they have to do important meetings etc...
For example, my Imperial Agent has his field gear and the uniform for when he goes back to HQ. I wish for example we got the Republic uniform at disposal for the Republic Trooper, as he/she is an Officer and I feel bad presenting myself in front of Garza with the armor out of the battlefield.
I loved the various backstories for your characters, I always forge backstories for my characters too and it's very fun to do so.
I wish we could add it in-game a biography as some MMOs do, of course in line with the various classes introduction and Lore of the period.

I absolutely love that you came up with your own head canon for each of your characters. I've done the same with all of my Republic Characters. I haven't done the same with my one Sith character. I'll think of something though. :)
The way you feel about your trooper is how I feel about my BH. I Rp him like, "the higher the risk the higher the reward." I love the bh style the stroy is my favorite and alot of my friends play as sith or jedi so I was always in love with boba as a kid. I will be specing in to Sniper/oprative so I can get in and extract my targets or just run in blow stuff up and send a msg like a powertech. I cant wait for this update.
I love your characters' stories and depth behind them. I never played much swtor, but when I did, I had a Sith Sorcerer (i think, the other sith aside from the Sith Warrior). And I had a story for him as well and I was very excited with the roleplay. But I stopped playing for a while and when I came back, and I tried to log in, it asked me for the one time password thing, and I kept requesting it but I never got the one time password. So I haven't been able to log back into that account. It was quite the bummer honestly

Been watching this since the game came out, my main is a Mandalorian, Bounty Hunter, Imperial Trooper, Mercenary named Daigorre on the Star Forge server. You have always been a wealth of knowledge and make the game easy for others to get into. I'm the last of Clan Lok and I will carry their name and rebuild them for the great wars to come. For Mandalore and For the Empire!

I deviated from my friends the same way you did on your main. Following the development of the game i originally wanted to play a Jedi Shadow to recreate my Jedi Academy character who had a dualsaber. We decided to go Imperial and since everybody chose force users I switched to Bounty Hunter and have been maining it ever since.

i am so glad i was able to put a blaster rifle in the outfitter for my tooper sniper its also a Vanguard its my main i do have a back story for him i do that for most of my classes

I'm a big fan of RP. I've been watching your videos to get the idea of SWTOR, as I plan to play through it. Been brainstorming my RP characters. Already had 4 down. Sorta imported from ESO RP. But this has really gotten my nogging working on new ideas! Since I plan on making 8 characters to get legendary status I might as well make more of them RP-worthy, huh!?

This is my 30th child... Haha!
I have a Trooper I put in that Cartel armor that has a destroyed version as well with bullet holes. And I switched from good to destroyed after the droid boss in KotFE chapter 1. So it looked kinda like I barely survived the ship's explosion before being captured by Zakuul. Picked up among floating debris or something.
Shame few armors have that destroyed alternate look.
Awesome characters. Stuff like this gets me motivated to fine tune my...toons lol.

Sabotage 46:46 looks great! Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best. Probably because they don't clash with their surroundings, and compliment the character.

Great video. I've created a few backstories for my characters too. It's always interesting to hear about other player's characters and personalities. Even if they are gimmick characters. I've been taking a few art courses online (haven't been at it in a while because of work, church commitments and college). All my toons are restricted to the story events in game however, e.g my Trooper is the Havoc Squad Commander, my Knight is the Battlemaster and Alliance Commander etc. However I did try to come up with some back stories for them and wanted to create a comic story for them. My Knight and Consular were initiates in the Bergruffta clan on a Jedi Enclave on Drall. My Knight was rescued and taken in by the Order as a child from Imperial Occupied Serreno and was in fact the weakest candidate who was more likely to be reassigned to the Jedi Service Corps and was bullied by members of the Bear Clan. That's all I have so far, haven't really gone in depth with my other six or seven toons.

Listening to the clone character’s backstory just makes me think that when he killed his clone I imagine him saying: There can be only one!
I made a very fun role play of my 4 imperial story characters meeting.The inquisitor and warrior met on Korriban and formed a friendship.hThey helped each other complete their trials.The imp agent and bounty hunter bumped into each other in Nemros palace.They also helped each other complete their goals.All 4 of them met on the arrivals ship going from the imp fleet to Dromund Kass.After that i went crazy and created a story that’s probably longer then the main questline/class story.I recently added my favorite part of my role play series and that is the once greedy bounty hunter sacrificing himself by throwing himself into an army of thousands of sith,Jedi,troopers,and imp agents to save his friends who are traitors of the Republic and empire.Roleplaying is really fun.
This is awesome, reminds me of how imaginative and creative I am with my characters as I have 2 characters out of the 8 I made that come from a Star Wars book I wrote 1 year ago that takes place around 1400bby. The story of a powerful Jedi (Jedi Sentinel) who becomes a sith then becomes a Grey Jedi after and eventually finds balance in the force after traversing through both the light and dark who also has a clone/daughter (Sith Marauder) he created who was his apprentice when he was a sith. I would get into the details but this comment would be long lol. Once your imagination starts going, creativity is just endless.

That's the kind of name I give most of my characters that I play for one and only one purpose.
My current BH is always talked to like the Empire means anything more but a paycheck to them, 2V (the imp droid) still is programmed to "For the Empire" as if the Hunter is part of it
I only noticed it with the new Hunter as I play them as basically a good person in a terrible industry, a contract is a contract and will not be betrayed or bought out or anything, but if possible i bring the targets in on ice. This basically will also turn into what happens later, I'll let him switch allegiance at any point to the highest bidder unless a contract is already active involving those people

Lol I have two kinds of characters, "canon" and "variants". "Canon" are my main characters that I play seriously, and the "variants" are characters based on other IP's. One is a Bounty Hunter named "Geralt Orivea" (Witcher), an Operative called "Cera Kerrigan" (StarCraft), and a Sorcerer called "Ánnatar" (Lord of the Rings). Come 7.0, I'm making an Inquisitor Marauder based on Loki and a Smuggler Mercenary based on Peter Quill from the MCU.

Niceness. I have a sith pureblood sith marauder, zabrak jedi knight, sith pureblood sith assassin, cyborg operative and human mercenary. I main my Sith marauder and current on Nar Shadda.
So cool :D i deleted all but 2 of my characters, a pure blood sith Republic trooper that alings herself with the darkside, and a torguta jedi warrior that is kinda like a grey jedi, i kept them both because they craft my armors, but when the New expansión comes out im going to replay the sith warrior story line as a lighting warrior, that may end up using light side powers because in the end he end up married to my jedi warrior, and together they comand the alliance fighting the republic and reforming a better empire

Smuggler: Advanced Prototype/Vanguard, want to use the rifle too. Figured would be close to the Mandalorian lol. Name is Duey Jaine on Darth Malgus.

I will say, My Chiss Jedi Anale 'gae' ackriaasi (Legaea) is disappointed with your Chiss name choices. Yes, the Chiss naming convention for Legaea is correct. Yes, I go hard with character creation.
Yes! I did a huge project related to chiss names a long time ago so I'm very familiar with them... Guess I just never made one!

Wow! Thats a lot good charecters! I find intering that on the contrary of most MMORPG, The Old Republic rly give us many reason for creat new chearecters.
Kind of remind me when i start my charecters too. I did start the game as Sith
Sorcerer human call Jayne(dark side) when the rise of the hutt cartel just came out, at the same time i did a Bounty Hunter Powertech Cyborg (light side) call Moorswestford (at time you cond't have 2 names o the same charecter, but charecter name i have the ideia from Game Of Thornes RPG game), and while latter i made Christofs( was supose to be Christof Shinsengumi, like i charecter i made on RPG game, but cound't put 2 names at time) as jedi Knight Guardian Miraluka (Light Side), then move to a twi'lek smugller call Caisitine (dark side). A while latter i did sith Wairror Maruaduer Pure Sith call Seafire (dark side), and my Operative Chriss, Trish'don (neutral side) and my jedi concil Shadow Miraluka, Silmeria Shinsengumi (light side). At lesat, i made Tychus Warfield(light side) as my trooper Zabrak Commando (referese to Starcraft 2 Tychus and General Warfield).
Since the allow now to put 2 names at charecter, became a lot more esay to chose.
I do intend to creat more charecter to see class stroys from other class as diferente side a chose before (dark side or light side), but decide to wait for the next expasion to come before creat, but probaly will be Bounty Hunter dark side or jedi Knight dark side.
I know the joy and pain of being a toon-a-holic!!! It's glorious!!!!

I have back stories on some of my toons. In fact, I had to create them for a couple of guilds in order to join! I love creating the stories and friends of mine who have zero interest in games have told me I should think about writing them in more detail...at least as fan fic.
I used the Primeval Stalker (I think it's called) on my BH. She looked badass in it and it has bones and I think fur. I've been leveling other toons for so long I kinda forget what it looks like but I think it fits old school bh.
As far as leveling, and I could be mixing this up with another game, but I thought we had someone on fleet who could freeze our leveling. Am I misremembering this? If we do have it, this would be a great tool for those who don't want to out level certain areas.
Thanks for sharing your toons! It's fun to see what people create! I have a Gunslinger named Lara and yeah, I totally created her after Lara Croft and was able to mix and match pieces to give her that look. I have another toon a Vanguard named Seven of Nine because why not? Her gear is a bit more racy - Ventilated Scalene (sans helmet) - so more of a spicy sort of cyborg. :P It's so much fun to recreate toons after characters from SW or other franchises.

i have a sith lord became a dad to 2 force users, sadly the republic attackd the empiral outpost known to be the siths home, he died and one kid got kidnapped by the jedi and joind the order while the other got buried under the ruble and mistaken for another slave.
the jedi kid grew up and gave birth to 2 children, the first child inherited the force abilities of their mother as for the second child did not and grew distant from the mother and ran away becoming a smuggler and enherited traits of the sith, being slightly more cruel. the first child grew up to become a strong jedi and had a child that did not have the force, understanding the mistake of his mother spent time with the non force user, that kid grew up wanting to join the military and joind havoc squad
the slave eventually killd the slaver with force lightning infront of a sith bidder and became sith, later the sith hired a bounty hunter and found out what had happend to her sister and grew a distast of her and didnt see her as her sister and more of a imposter wearing her sisters face, the sith became a mother to 2 children one was gifted with the force and the other wasnt, but she knew the mistakes because of her sister so she paid attention to both of them, the one without force abilities became a empiral agent while the other became a sith warrior, the sith warrior couldnt find any good challenges exept the unrelenting rakghouls on taris so he fought there for 4 years and found a woman they had children, what they didnt know was that the sith warrior was infected by the plauge so when the child was born he had traits from both humans and rakghouls, and could commun with them but for what they had done to his father he wanted nothing more for them to die

I just recently began my swtor journey, i created a female Zabrak sith marauder of wich i'm pretty proud of since i made her look pretty unique despite the limited options of the character creator, i tried to make her look like a female darth maul but at the same time having features of her own, like horns resembling a crown and tattoos and make up that helped give her a hateful and threatening appearance but also composed and calculator look somewhat like Asajj Ventress. I wanted to go full darkside but at the end i couldn't quite stomach all the darkside choices so i went neutral instead and the thing about my character is that she is supposed to be a highly skilled force sensitive warrior who, before joining the sith ranks, was a warmonger, a general of her own army, leading it in battle against rival factions of her own race for conquest and glory in an unknown planet inhabited by a Zabrak colony who were once visited by the sith of the first empire in the outer rim, though i don't know how much of this is true for the zabrak, i'm just trying to make as much sense as i can while not being a loremaster. So my character wasn't nice to begin with, but after being noticed by the empire of the current age, she abandons her people and their local conflicts in pursue of greater power and understandment of her force sensitive nature, she saw this as her destiny, though her people saw this as treason, their general turning into a defector in times of war, so they intended to kill her as it was the law, wich ended up with the deads of many of her former tribe folk who were no match for her swift and devastating blows as well as her raw power. She knew well that to crave for power is to destroy everything that stands in the way of it, even kin, and power is the key to everything. Though they were ferocious warriors they were not without honor, so the honorless ways of the sith constantly made her question what good power really was if it only ended up consuming itself due to the treacherous nature of the darths who would constantly betray one another for more power, she saw this as a weakness within the empire so the natural thing for her to do was to pretend that she was full darkside comitted while at the same time learning and exposing the order for what it was, murderous madmen who would abuse their power torturing and killing the weak for pleasure, wasting time and resources instead of fighting powerful individuals to prove their skills and worth as sith, strenghtening themselves as they were to believe. So my character has this predatorlike code of enhancing her skills against the strong or die trying. As for her personality, she is harsh to everyone and not fond of emotional attachment, though she is cunning and can show twisted sense of humour at times, she would make sacrifices without hesitation if need by, for the greater good of the empire, but she would never shame herself as a proud warrior so at the end she is more tipped towards the dark but those who are more close to her can see there is also some light within her, buried by a lifetime of senseless violence and conflict. What good or bad would this be for the galaxy, well i'll have to play more and find out xd, maybe she was called to bring about the change the galaxy desperately needed or maybe to be a force of destruction in a war bigger than the one she left. Her name is Darth Jeoval (For Jehova being labeled as a savior but also a demon, search for it) her true name is of no importance to her as it reminded her of her past and also the one time she was forced to cast aside her honor and betray every one who once stood by her side. Despite this she believes to embody the true meaning of what it is to be sith so she is determined to change the empire from within, cleansing it from its impurities and leading it to a greater destiny like she once lead her people to glory, not decadence.
Even though I've never had the chance to play SWTOR, I came up with an idea for a Jedi character for the era (even if I'll never get a chance to make them even if I do get SWTOR): A Gen'dai - like The Flame on Nar Shadaa or Durge in Clone Wars - that escaped the Sith Empire's attack on their homeworld and completing his training near the end of the Great Galactic War. Due to the lifespan of his species, he survives each major conflict of the Old Republic era beyond the fall of Vitiate's empire and to the end of the New Sith Wars (after holding a High Council Seat and a major title in the centuries between) only to have a period of doubt after seeing the wider Jedi Order stagnate in the 1000 years before the Prequels which made him spend almost a century Meditation in a forgotten Jedi Temple. By the time of the Prequels he's on one of the secondary Councils and becomes a major General in The Clone Wars before effortlessly surviving Order 66 and joining the Empire after seeing when the Jedi's fall became inevitable, justifying his pledge to Sidious by viewing the Rule of Two Sith as separate from those from Vitiate's Sith Empire with the aim of merely outliving Sidious which he doesn't fulfil.
Perhaps a little overpowered but still a fun concept.
