Which was nice to see, seeing that she's such a sweetheart!...
But i understand that some people, ever though they honestly love their pets, they may not always show it as much as some other people, or like i would, but still it was nice to see!

It always amazes me how some shops want big trucks to pick up there freight when the road is big enough for a pick up truck. Guys put there equipment at risk because the company where they are picking up are to cheap to fix it’s facilities for the big trucks. If you scrapped your truck or trailer on there building they would have a fit. Great job backing up Dan. Loved the music when you were driving. Your a pro Dan and it shows, stay safe driver….

I know. I guess I've been watching Dan longer than I had realized because this is at least the 3rd time I have seen him back down that alley, and I am impressed every single time. If I ran a truck driving school, that alley would be part of my final student exam, LoL. What scares me the most (Dan has mentioned this before) is the driver's side mirror. It's (sort of) easy to keep the trailer straight but especially at the very end, you have to stay soooo close to the building wall that just the slightest twitch too far of the wheel would result in an expensive scraping sound. Hat's off again to Dan!
I was just looking at this thinking "I feel like if they rearranged employee cars he could turn around back there..." but he has done it so many times it's a breeze at this point

Relatively speaking that's a pretty easy backup job. He was able to turn and pull into the sidestreet and straight back into the hole, plus he had a swamper to wave him on when traffic was clear. Can't get much smoother than that. NOW, take away that sidestreet and right angle back into that hole on your blind side...that's far tougher and praise worthy.
I know the place you're picking up at in Hickory. I hauled empty reels in a dry van from up North back to their facility. In fact the first place I started driving for when I finished cdl school is only maybe 30 minutes East of hickory in Claremont. It has been hot here in NC the past week or so in the low mid 90's not counting the heat index. Some spots in state was 99f this past week without the heat index.

I recognize the narrow back in ? I drove a highboy rig one summer as an engineering student because I had a CDL as a farm kid! You don’t forget the tight spots those folks put you in! I retired as a CEO so it’s all good! It was a wonderful 3 months, once they figured out I could find the tough spots and load the difficult ugly stuff I got used but I really didn’t care it was good money and I needed it , for my education my parents did not have extra money,this was the late 60’s I had scholarships and bursaries to cover most of the costs but living expenses were a drain on my family.
I did what I could to generate some positive cash flow !

Had my basic during the summer at Ft. Leonard Wood. The company was mostly reservists and National Guard from Minnesota and Wisconsin. I grew up in Missouri and had no problems with the heat and humidity. But those boys from up north dropped like flies.

Yeah, Mid-west heat is bad because it all gets driven up from the Gulf of Mexico, here on the East Coast of Canada, we get our heat from Florida, just like the Hurricanes.
