Two extremely talented and accomplished actors talking about their craft, communicating true curiosity about the others´ work, method and thought process; as well as allowing each other to be honest in their admiration and perception of each other. Its so moving.
Marriage Story is a masterpiece and the best film of the year so far! I hope Laura wins an Academy Award along with Driver and Johansson! Waves is also in my top 10 and Sterling is brilliant! Hope he can get nominated! They’re both just beautiful individuals!
This was great! Inciteful and uplifting. I loved the rapport they had and genuine interest in each other as actors. Dern is a well seasoned vet who knows her stuff inside and out and Brown less seasoned but a stunning actor who knows himself well and makes good acting choices. It was one of my favs of this series I think. Both deserve Oscars. This was so enjoyable to watch.

Waves and Marriage Story are among recent movies proving that well-written stories about complicated people are still out there, almost 40 years after the end of the glorious "New Hollywood" era.
It's unusual to hear actors talk this thoughtfully about their characters. Even in great roles, half the time it's not much more profound than "I thought he'd probably walk with a limp."
Thats because of how easy they make acting look. It's a testament to their talent/skill, if you think it looks as easy as "I thought he'd walk with a limp". Also, acting/film is an art form, of course there's depth and meaning behind the art. These roles are also more indie than mainstream, so there's more substance in these characters than someone pulled from some typical blockbuster.
Ive always loved laura dern since way back in the 80,she is really a gifted actress and Sterling k.brown i saw him as johnny Cochran and he was amazing im looking forward too seeimg more of him in the movies.
