This is CRT in its purest form. The cop probably doesn’t think he’s a racist but it’s ingrained in his being and moral values.

As a white EU citizen i was stopped 3 times a private driver on road in UK, and on each occasion manged to takk myself out of the situations with better knowledge of the law and Highway code .
Now as a professional driver and only occasionally reportubg issues and following others' interactions dralungs with police, i still have the inpression it is a mafia club, mainly to protect each ithwr rather then the vulnerable and public in need. Countless police walk and drive past incidents on road and police drivers not adhering to basic / advanced driving or common sense .No no surprise the public has lost trust.
    Badge and not much else.

Its amazing that even with no audio of the actual exchange you can sense just from the reporting of the words that the police officer used that he deliberately intended to escalate this event to make something out of nothing. Very unprofessional and unethical. This officer must be expelled from the police force because this guy is on a power trip

The problem with modern police is not just an occasional bad officer here and there. It's systemic and widespread. It's the training and indoctrination that makes all police bad officers to some degree or another. They are taught, trained, encouraged and enabled to be this way, and fellow officers, departments, police unions, and commanders are all responsible for letting this occur and continue to fester.

Can't trust a single one of them (that does not mean there aren't some that can't be trusted, but it's not worth taking that chance). BUT IN GENERAL SHOW RESPECT AND
DIGNITY. TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED...❤❤

A routine traffic stop turns into a career-altering moment for Officer Larson when he pulls over Eric Porter, unaware that Eric is the head of Internal Affairs. What begins as racial profiling ends with Larson realizing his grave mistake, and Eric uses the encounter to spark meaningful change within the police department. This story emphasizes the importance of fairness, accountability, and integrity in law enforcement. Eric’s calmness and authority ultimately challenge the status quo, leading to a department-wide review and a promise for a better future.

Nice piece of idealistic fiction of good versus bad and change. Problem is there are 18,000 PDs in the US, many of them in local PDs, poorly paid and employing 10 officers or less. Difficult to imagine change happening, particularly if all the staff share the same culture and values and each PD continues tomarks its own misconduct homework.
