@RetiredWorkingForYou: Just got back from 2 weeks in Thailand... our first time. It was amazing and your videos were SO helpful to us. Thank you, Chris! We appreciate your hard work and love your content. We will be back again!
Brilliant! A whole new Bangkok experience on youtube. "This video immerses you in the greatest city on Earth...Bangkok." Yes, very immersive! Thanks for this enjoyable and relaxing video!
It's been 2 months, and I miss it terribly. The cheap light lager there (I drank mostly Leo in bottles, Chaing on tap) never tasted so good. I think it's a lot warmer now than it was around X-Mas! I like your editoralizing! There are plenty of silent walkers out there....
At 12:18...in Thailand, whenever Thais see an old woman selling something, they buy something from her to help her financially, not to buy what she's selling.
I loved this! I like the fact that you didn't just walk around the streets like a lot of other youtubers, but you often stopped to show a person, or the little girl singing, etc. and we got just a glimpse as if we were the ones standing there looking. I also loved the documentary feel and look!
I’m flying from Krabi to Bangkok now as I wrap up 1 month in Thailand. My trip has been dental, tourism and eating. My first trip to Asia a grand success and much thanks to Chris and his videos. I’m going to make a video when I get back of my experience. My favorite thing of all? The people…
Yesterday I saw you setting up your camera in front of Gaysorn Plaza and was wondering what you’re doing! 😄 Now I know! Thanks for your genuine love for Thailand. 🫶🏼🇹🇭
I Totally love This style. Once in a while you may be just silent in background Or explain things in detail later on with your subtitle. Great job Mr.☮️✝️💟 ☮️Peace.
After spending 5 days in Bangkok (down South this week), I learned that city has lots and lots to say. It felt like I explored a bunch, but in reality, barely covered the tiniest sample of what exists there. Either way, it was a great introduction, and the vids on this channel helped build my confidence to try it out for sure.
I loved it. Completely recognized seafood by Soy 1 and Soy 3. BKK is very busy but compared to some places in Canada it is relaxing. My travel advice if you are staying in the Sukhumvit area, try and stay near the MRT. I was 20 min away and it felt like a chore getting there and back. Had it been a block away I am sure I would have taken it more often as it is so easy to use.
Right off the bat.. I miss the sounds of a souped up Tuktuk.. varooommm😜 and those food courts in the malls with all those yummy tidbits of goodness 🤤😋. I’ll be back in Sept/Oct .. thanks for the memories Chris 🙏🙏 Canadas gift to Thailand
I haven't been there since November 2019 before the world stopped. I miss it very much. My first trip to Bangkok was February 2008. Been many times since as I lived in Korea for 12 years. Can't wait to get back. Thanks for the immersion and the sights and sounds. At times it brought back the smells in my mind. Not many places smell like Bangkok. Thanks, Chris!
Love that Video Chris! Even though I Like listening to you this Video gives a great feeling about Bangkok itself and how many faces the City has. Great Work & all the best! ❤️
I'm super into the concept of this style of video, but if I can make one suggestion as an uber armchair expert; use a gimbal (if you didn't already) next time for more stable shots! Would be especially valuable in the walking shots
Probably the best video so far! 🤣 Nah just kidding, Chris, your the best man! Keep doing what your doing, your bring a sought out usnhsinew and freshness to TH-cam which many should learn from.
Oh man Chris! We always look forward to your vids, as we just returned from Thailand to the states. Looking forward to fast approaching retirement years and being BKk inhabitants! Cheers and drink a Leo for us Minnesothai-ans 🍺🍺
Watching Buddha worshipped: The most basic teaching of Gautama Buddha was "ahimsa". Translated from Sanskrit: “non injury” or nonviolence. If you actually love Buddha then you should love nonviolence which includes not killing animals when you have been provided such a wealth of non animal flesh nutrition, it surrounds you. Begin to actually surround Buddha w/ love.
That is good advice however if mankind had not been able to eat animal protein he would not have advanced like he did. In nature all eat what they are made to eat. This includes man. Thailand is a Buddhist country and yet they eat meat. Islam is a no alcohol religion and yet how many have you seen in Thailand using it? Examples of this are throughout the world. So you propose a rigid form of beliefs while I propose a more fluid form. Have a great day.
BKK is hub of Thailand in every aspects, geographically, culturally, transportation-wise. So you could expect almost everything from around the country in here.

@@RetiredWorkingForYou should have said for sure not a typical Chris video. Watched every video you made brother. Love em. Hope to run into you in October, my first trip to Thailand
Be careful not to buy orange or pomegranate juice that hasn't been freshly blended because it uses tap water. Mixing colors and mixing scents. If you see a shop that looks like the oven vdo at 12.13, a shop like this is a shop for beginning workers who come to compete for jobs reserved for people. Thailand entered the wrong type of visa Smuggling and selling fake fruit juice, but the price is high according to the price in Thailand, pretending to be real fruit juice, and from what Thai police often catch and see the production process, they produce it in a dishwashing basin. Mixing colors and smells in people The seller will not speak Thai clearly or may speak in cases where the cart looks like it's standing alone. In the city, please be careful!
