I know they included some of the new events featured at the Olympics but we're still lacking both canoe slalom and sprint, there's literally no archery or shooting, and if I'm not wrong, skeet is missing as well. Still, at least we have a console game, rather than the poor mobile Rio 2016 version with 6 events.

The version that he played,was a Asia English version,so don't be surprised,the Asian are able to play this game very early,while the rest of the world will have to wait until 2020.I don't know why they didn't release worldwide this year,but they need to localized the rest of the Language(as they only include English,Japanese,Chinese,and Korean).Or probably(In my opinion),this is has lot to do with the success of Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta last year,so they give a chance for SEA to play the game very early.But we already know,the rest of the event(not only Localization)are unavailable,so the worldwide release have to be postpone until 2020.
This is basically wii sports, I know this game would shine its best if you play with other people. The running mechanics are a little to easy. I remember playing a track and field game where you had to creat a rhythm with your steps and if u missed a beat u would slow down, but I guess u can’t make the game too realistic.

They certainly need to add more field events. No Javelin, Discus, 200m, 5k (as i always find these distances hilarious to attempt).... maybe add in something a bit outside the box like the walking race?
