When this game was released me and my little brother played the hell out of this game, it consumed our imaginations, and eventually his lungs were consumed and he passed away last April, watching this video brought back countless hours of memories. RIP William ❤
Almost didn't happen - up until a few months before release, it was gonna be yet another gritty, serious, grey and brown shooter to throw on the ever expanding heap from that decade. Switching the tone and the art style was an 11th hour decision - a level of risk you'd NEVER see today.
I remember buying this game because the cover looked intriguing and I just wanted something me and my friend could play together on the couch. Went from a random purchase to us both standing outside for a midnight release of BL2, them getting their own console so we didn't have to split screen, and now being hooked on 3. This will forever be one of my favorite franchises ever, and is THE looter shooter.
I went through a similar phase. For the last decade or so, I'd heard nothing but good things about the Borderlands series; but never paid too much attention to it. I'd played bits of the first game years ago, but again, just never got into it enough to care. Then about 4 years ago, I finally got my hands on the Handsome Collection. I decided to sit down and give the Pre-Sequel a go before 2. And before long, I'd just fallen in love with these games. I finally finished the original after so many years, understood now why TFTB was so beloved; and was ecstatic as all hell when 3 was announced. The rest is history.
I remember accidentally buying this game on release day thinking it was Rage on the Xbox 360 and it turned out to be one of the best mistakes I've ever made. Been a huge fan ever since and the nostalgia with this intro hits different
@@mairogoev673 I was walking down the street when out the corner of my eye I saw a pretty little thing approaching me She said, "I never seen a man, who looks so all alone And could you use a little company?
