That is my motto.
I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. So let‘s find out how fast I can drive, shall we? But I have one last message for you: Please don‘t test your limits on the streets when you don‘t know what you are doing. Beautiful car even today if you ask me. I have Astra J GTC with 1.7 CDTI Isuzu engine and it's still a head turner even today.
same model, i fucking love this car. Holds the road like an actual sports car and that isuzu engine is just so briliant
@@Simone-bk9os Yeah, suspension is great on this car. It holds the road like a tank. Isuzu engine is reliable, more than 1.4 and 1.6. I took DPF and EGR off on mine and now it's even better.
Imagine if this Opel GTC weighed 250 kg less?

Strange that my 2000 E39 523iA would overtake a much newer car like this Opel Astra GTC with the same HP.
Not really strange at all. As far as I understand this it's due to the fact that old cars has lower emission regulation. Higher emission regulation chokes power even if the hp is the same.

My Octavia 2014 with 1.8 TSI 180 PS is a lot faster. But Opel Astra IV is really heavy car
because your car 1.8 180, opel 1.6 170. it is normal.

why bad performance
Why Bad? 8,3 from 0-100kmh and 235kmh Vmax its okay for the 170hp, this char weights around 1400-1500kg
You ahould do the astra k 1.6T with 200 bhp and its lighter
5:11 gearbox saying ouchie
Dont know if this is also the M32 gearbox, but if it is... it's horrible trash, widely used in GM cars.
I don't know if it's just the gearknob or the mechanics of it, but 2nd gear specifically is ass to select.
@@pitecusH most opel cars with manual are trash, I have driven brand new opel cars manual with less than 1000km on tacho and they all have problems with fast gear change, nothing like vw, audi, skoda where can fast change all day no problems even when car has 500'000km
@@pilot554Thats so true... I Drive an 28 years old Audi a4 and rhe Gear Changes are much smoother an you can Change the Gear pretty fast compared to the Opel Astra j i Drove 6 years ago at Work with 50k in the clock...
@@pitecusHSame with my GTC. I have to be delicate when going into second as it feels very notchy and rough when selecting it especially when cold. Less than 50k on clock.
True. I just changed my gearbox oil recently and it's a bit better. M32's are known for shitty quality and oil vanishing on it's own. I was lucky enough to check it on time since I had less than 1 litre left in my gearbox. It's insane.
Mercedes A200 with 163HP is way faster than this GTC.

this one is the version with 170 ps. there is also a version with 180 ps built till 2012 according to wikipedia.
