@@TwoRailfans Thank you Guys. Yes, all in the Rusty Box are now back in action, so although challenging, well worth it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Always appreciated. 👍
Thanks Mike. The last locos from the rusty box are now repaired. TT video comimg soon. Don't know if you saw my community page. Thanks for watching and commenting. Always appreciated. 👍 Have a great weekend
@@newlynnrailway Thanks Clive. Although they are all running now a few like the GP-38 still have issues. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated. 👍
@@normancoreyBuildingTrains Thank you Norman. Trash to Treasure is definitely the way to go. I have 5 layouts, the Tri-ang Super 4 layout being the newest, but also has the most "saved from the bin" scenery. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated 👍
@@ModelTrainOutsider yes Anthony. These LifeLike models with small wheel flanges were made for Code 100 track. Funny how the Sante Fe had no troubles with the Code 125 points but the GP-38 did. In honesty they were cheap toys rather than quality products from what I can tell from the info online. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated 👍
@@trainsontuesday Hi David. Yes, agreed. Nice looker, but thats about all there is to say about the GP-38, sadly. Not the greatest quality. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated 👍

Not a total success but they both run now.

I love the Rusty Box Repairs videos. Anyone can run a train, but it takes work to get a non-functional unit running again.

A split decision. Nice to see it can run, as it is a very cool looking loco, but that points issue would bother me more than the radius issue.

The motor and drive on those Life Like GP38's ruined a potentially good model. I did like the livery though.
