Rand, IMPORTANT LIFE HACK for you. If you press down on the volume key while a phone is ringing, it mutes the ringing. It lets it finish ringing and go to voicemail if you want it to do that, but it stops making noise at you.
I know Machine Games is working on Indiana Jones so they are taken, but I really think now would be a great time to make a AAA Judge Dredd game... So id software would be just as good of a fit. Can you imagine a rated M, 1st person Dredd game? It would be awesome!
The games with gold is a chance for us to get free games that we maybe never played or never even heard of. It's not to give us the new triple A games of the last year because we already get that with gamepass

I think accusing the outlets that posted the fake Halo news of being anti xbox goes a little too far. It's all about clicks, whether they are anti or pro xbox / sony. Lumping them all together as fanboys of another company, i dunno, you guys are better than that. :)

@Console Gaming you are really not doing a good job. 1 minute on google search and i found an editorial where a kotaku editor was questioning why one should own a ps5 in 2020 when the same games are releasing on ps4, too. they also reported on the fan speed increase, in passing, because let's be honest, we don't know yet how that will work and if noise is going to be an issue. as for the series s, it's jim ryan's stance on it. let the man have his opinion, even if you don't agree with it. personally, more than one SKU with different hardware specs, i'm not a fan either even if it might lead to better sales....

Why doesn't Microsoft do a deal with Netflix where Netflix incorporates gamepass streamable titles into their service (already preloaded into tvs), as a $5 per month add on to netflix, and Gamepass could in turn, add Netflix to gamepass for an additional $5 per month, using asure servers for 4k streaming instead of paying Amazon. Both services benefit via cross promotion👌

When gamepass first started I commented on a video about how games with gold should go away because all those games end up in GP anyway. I got a lot of hate for that, but it only makes sense

Would you take 30 Frames when we get later into the gen and the systems are having trouble pushing it, or would you expect a faster console cycle?
If the mini fridge was like 5 times bigger, i think the mini fridge in my room is probably 6 times bigger. So ya if the Series X fridge was scaled way bigger than what they are right now. No way would I pay $100 for a mini fridge that only holds 4 freakin cans... that's almost pointless n a waste of electricity.

As much as I want gold abolished I think its premature to do so until gamepass has enough subscriptions to replace it and set itself into the bedrock. Next year hopefully. I would expect to see a gamepass restructure at that point. Like 3 different subscription options. A family subscription that can allow up to 3 or 4 devices or accounts. A budget option for solo players that play in one place etc

Like David Jaffe said it's stupid to be a fanboy for one brand or another, there's no reason you can't play games on all platforms if you can afford it. I do hope this helps push Sony to push out their version of game pass, with games coming day and date to it. I imagine they've been working on it

Sony wants to see the numbers on MLD the show from Game Pass first hands.
In order to know the numbers and how it works for Microsoft, what better way to get on Game Pass with 1 of their games that isn't necessarily their biggest and see how Microsoft does it, how they make it work and if worth it for them to start doing the exact same thing, with their own service.

I would like ID to make a new Quake ... not a hero shooter like champions(i believe its a hero shooter) More like those tradition FPS Area shooters from back in the day. Chaos and fun. Also Microsoft needs to have a studio that primarly focuses on Fighting games. Even if they have to make it from scratch ... Fighting games are not as Niche as everyone thinks it is. Sacred Symbols stated that PS said in just 2020 the ppl who play fighting games spent 1.5 billion hours playing fighting games. In just 1 year ? Thats equivalent to like 63K years in just 1 year ? It has to mean something. Xbox needs to throw some love to the Fighting game community. Its the one thing that bothers me about xbox and forces me to keep my ps4 around... like guilty gear strive looks amazing it should be on xbox too.

Fighting games are niche. 1.5 billion hours played for a whole genre is nothing in a year cycle. For comparison Cod modern warfare(2019) had 2.4 billion hours played... in 6 months. That one game had almost 1 billion more in half the time than the whole fighting genre did. It’s also really important to mention that total hours played doesn’t determine if a lot of people play a game. A strong group can account for a large portion of the hours played which makes it seem inflated. I agree that a fighting studio would be awesome for Microsoft, but in all honestly, it’s a niche genre overall.

I don't get the whole deal with MLB the show.. it isn't huge but it isn't the end of the world. If you care, yeah it sucks if you don't then it isn't much of anything, and I have two of each system so i'm not fanboying any which way.

If you live in Australia, EB games is currently letting you preorder in store for a June restock. (They are keeping it instore only to combat Scalpers)
Try an app called hotstock as well, doesn't work well when there is only a small stock increase but when a large shipment comes in it'll save you.
