Fable should have a co-op option like Far Cry and Dying Light where it doesn't affect the design of the single-player experience in any way, it's just an option thaf makes the game more fun with a friend.
I’m finding the actual racing gameplay is full of emotion. I’ve never really played racing games in inside car view. I normally go Bonnet view as find it easier to judge corners etc. but man, in car view in FH5 is sooooo good. Once you get used to it I find those small steering adjustments are easier to judge as you can see the steering wheel and know you’ve only counter steered a tad and don’t end up snaking down the road. Getting a decent run on these races blows most single player story driven games emotion out the window. Like the millennium falcon bursting through the flames in return of the Jedi. Well almost. In car view does hinder your view of the beautiful landscape a bit but man the Emerson is tippy top!
Your show really helps get problems off of my mind, I have depression and I always look forward to the show. I always feel better while watching your show and talking to people in the chat. Thank you both for all the hard work you guys do to make the show possible. You both seem like great guys and I'm looking forward to the next show. My favorite podcast by far

Forza H5 doesnt really need anything but as an extra dream want ....I think it would be cool to put in a split second style section in forza....because it seems playground can do anything. I loved split second and the destructionable landscapes and buildings while racing. I can't remember did motorstorm have destructionable backgrounds. I know that's not what forza is about but if they made a small little section in the game like legos....could be fun.

If the Halo multiplayer does launch early on Nov 15th, does that mean Halo can qualify for GOTY even though the campaign launches Dec 8th? If so it's a clever tactic.

Talking about the (just1) game, Asobo would be that studio for xbox. I recently played A Plague Tale Innocence, and its just so good. Asobo can definitely rival naughtydog. with A plague tale requiem coming to gamepass day one, im super exited and really hope xbox aquires asobo. Focus home interactive has a tendency to screw over devs.
Another great show Rand👍 I agree with you, it is time to have Jez do all of the Manscaped ads💥 I wish the GOTY would include games such as FH5. I understand the need for a game to have a story, but also believe the GOTY needs to include all game types and have 8-10 nominees for GOTY. If Microsoft makes the Halo Infinite multi-player available on 11/15, that would be a great 20th Anniversary gift for all Halo players. My Series X has lived up to most of the hype (with the exception of Ray tracing, but that will be better implemented in the next 2 years as devs better utilize the RDNA2 features) 60fps has been the predominant standard for Series X games (FH5 looks spectacular). The power delta is much wider in favor of the Series X (12.15 tflops) vs PS5 (10.28 tflops) vs PS4 (1.84 tflops) vs Xbox 1 (1.31 tflops), but utilizing the power will be on the game devs working their magic with the game dev kits and console hardware features which takes time. 1st year grade for Series X is a B+ Thanks Rand and Jez
I've been desperate for Max Payne 3 for soooooo long. What the hell happened to Rockstar (don't bother answering GTA online happened). Wish Remedy still owned the IP. Either way just let me play the final game again. Would love a remake of 1 and 2.
Xbox has had a good year not a great one but it will be remembered by the double punch of Forza & Halo. Some good Game pass additions early this year like Outriders & MLB. Psychonauts, 12 minutes and a couple other indies we have been waiting for finally came out too! Next year should be better spaced out but it starts in April with Stalker 2? Or 3rd parties come earlier. Still lots of work to be done. PS dominates mindshare and that wont change overnight. Xbox is setup proper now. Now we wait.
Dealer does have some funny moments though. Although I prefer the format of this show. I like the fact that there are a variety of ways to spread the Xbox vibe. This show I can handle every week. RDX I have to be in the mood for.
I do enjoy RDX, but I agree in that RDX being quite frantic - far too many people talking at once, which normally means, you can't actually hear anything coherent. I enjoy quite a few game pods, but Rand and Jez are definitely my favourite 👌
I think being able to purchase the game a tad early before it his gamepass is great news. It may still help retailers like game/GameStop being involved with Xbox. I love game pass but I also like receiving physical games as presents at crimbo etc. well done Microsoft for keeping retailers involved.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I hate when guests are brought on. I skip episodes of any podcast that brings on a bunch of people, as it usually results in nothing but people talking over each other and having surface level conversations, 'cause everyone's got to get their two cents in.
As a huge fan of the previous Halo Campaigns, my issue is still with the lack of co-op at launch. 343 was locked in with releasing both the MP and Campaign at the same time right? Assuming the rumor is true, for them to now change that by releasing the MP a few weeks ahead of the campaign seems nonsensical. In my opinion, they could have very well delayed the campaign to have it be the complete experience if the plan was to stealth drop the MP early regardless. For me, it would just be a frustrating move on their part.
compulsion has the same art style as psychonauts or the creators of dishonored. And I don’t understand why the hosts talk bad about Ubisoft making service games but love halo while it being converted as well into a service game. I think I just need to realize the hypocrisy and get over it or just stop listening cause I just wish it made sense. It’s a me problem
Turn off cross play!! You will find games… I been playing just Xbox network and keep finding games one after the other.. they are aware of the bug and suppose to patch it soon.
The main takeaway we should take from this Forza horizon 5 launch is that game pass subscribers are active and will support games day 1. I mean " 4 million players" doesn't sound better than " 4 million copies sold" but it's good nonetheless.
Gonna be kinda pissed if halo multiplayer launches on Monday, I had it lined up to enjoy the game when it launches. But as of now I'm gonna be lucky to squeeze in a few hours a week.
I’m a tad critical but Xbox has been very lacking 2 new games from a it’s new developers 1 of them was abandoned. Halo infinite and forza 5 feel like the Xbox that’s transitioning to a new era, I wish there was something else that they could do for xb1 like one more game that didn’t come out for it.
There were allegations made against Jeremy Soule. Turns out he may have been a creep. On top of that it doesn't seem like he's great to work with. Bethesda is almost certainly not going to work with him ever again.
We NEED PGR to return. I love Motorsport but find Horizon to be a train wreck (the handling is terrible). The OG Xbox had 3 notable first party racing franchises with Forza Motorsport, PGR & Rallisport Challenge. Xbox has around a dozen RPG's in production and over half a dozen shooter franchises on the go PGR is a global real world street racer encouraging driving with style. Is a third racing franchise too much to ask for? Hell, a kids kart racer should bump the total racing options up to four. Horizon sucks.

For those of us who actually like racing games, it's just a dumbed down bloated mess. PGR4 hit that sweet spot in-between the two with spot on arcade mechanics within the structure of an actual racing game and deserves a remake or sequel. I know plenty of players who've either stopped gaming or moved to Sony's platform who'd be back like a shot if PGR returned.
