Hi, the A, C, D button to access the hidden menu doesn't work for me. My bad it works now I was pressing the button all at once instead of one after another
Very interesting, as a new owner of a GBD-200 i appreciate this tutorial. One or two things I noticed on my watch: Step count (as shown on min 05:55 in the video) on my watch appears as 0, despite the fact that I´ve been wearing the watch all day (stepcount on homescreen shows more than 11,000 steps). Weird. Regarding Battery menue (min 06:28) I´m getting "V: 3.010 - T: values changing from 28.1 to 28.5 - if that is temperature, then it is Celsius I guess?
It’s strange that your step counter is not working. Did you try re setting your watch? It is one of the options in the settings menu. Edit: I think think that you are referring to the step count in the hidden menu. My one says 0 as well. Good call about the battery values, it must be the temperature in Celsius as it increases if I warm up the watch.
Step counter is to test the accuracy of the watch. It will always show zero. Open it and start walking. It will start increasing. That way you can check the accuracy.
I tried the font update (6:46) first and soft bricked my GBD-200. Just had to remove the back and reset by shorting to ground. I think it wasn't paired which caused the problem.
Hello, in the font menu 6:47, on my watch it says wait but it has not exited that menu and has continued to show wait for hours, how can I fix it? I really appreciate your help!
As a Japanese I second both comments, as this word is used only in case of commercial products being shipped/delivered somewhere. Technically it should be Shimuke-saki but guessing they shortened it. It’s probably using country names instead of region names EU, HK/CN, JP and US because it saves internal memory just reusing words stored for world timers instead of introducing new words.

When I changed the city in the Shimuke menu it updated the primary time display to that city's current time after I exited out of diagnostic mode.
