Before you go to any more power, I would first get an upgraded mishimoto radiator and oil cooler. Fairly sure I saw a catch can/aos in there already, but if that wasnt, you should get one of those too. Personally, I would get the listed items even if you stay at your current performance level. It will help your car keep its fluids cooler and they seem to run a tad hot even on stock setups. Nice build so far man.
Thanks bro. I have considered an oil cooler and have noticed the oil runs warmer than before. My tuner pointed that out as well. Normal driving conditions it’s fine. When it’s cold out, it doesn’t exceed 210. Exceeds it when you want it to. Back when it was stock, the oil reached 254 and climbing on a hot track day. So yeah, good idea. Coolant never exceeded 210 tho.
@@trentonkrentz7542 mishi has the thermostatic plate option. can set the cooler to kick on at 160, 180 and 200 or there abouts. Perfect for your situation and mine as I get sub 40F temps like 5 months out of the year. I am suggesting the radiator because a FMIC and oil cooler will block off a fair bit of airflow to the rad, considering how cheap radiator upgrades are, I am going to buy it for the same reason a person wears a condom...just in case lol.
If you add a good fat resonator to the midpipe it will tame the cold starts a bit and give it a deeper less raspy ricey sound. Also kills the drone in the cabin.
Good lord. Sounds awesome but loud AF. Do you think you could get the same numbers with more of a touring exhaust setup? I would feel like the true Ahole on my block if I did that exhaust.
I think you can get close. The stock downpipe wasn’t all that restrictive. Switching from regular cats to high flow cats is what really made the car scream
Nice! My 22 WRX just has a OTS Drunkmann tune on all stock parts. I'm not a drag racer, so that is more than enough power for bombing the twisty roads. I'm putting on brake upgrades and coilovers this weekend. I want to get the thing stopping properly and improve handling while also improving ride quality. It's my daily driver and the suspension feels like a hay wagon. High speed damping is terrible.
ETS catback? I have it as well w/ no res or muffler. doesn't pop as much as I want it to unless at redline. I also don't have a tune or anything. bone stock other other then exhaust and shift stop and STS from Cobb.
Everyones talking about limit of stock turbo but what about that trans? Isnt a good safe spot for these 350 or 400 whp? Im a little new. If i were to go 400 would it last me a long time if i dont launch it?
People are running more power than me and haven’t blown their trans yet. The first thing to fail are the headstuds. Some have reported stretching above 400whp. So I’m at a safespot for the stock studs
So it’s best to get it new if you go with the WRX or STI ? Because I been debating about getting a WRX GT , lol I’m a late bloomer when it comes to falling in love with cars.
So far yeah. Seems that the trans is gonna fail first if it does let go. Just depends on the abuse the driver is giving it. Street inspired is making more power than me but his video of his trans failing still scared me. No more launches. Clutch is plenty good tho

Intake, charge pipe + ethanol tune and 400awhp and 480awtq. No need for other mods unless you like spending money, but I would recommend pads.
Looks and sounds awesome. Well done Sir.

Your oil should run at 220-230F, fyi. Cooling it to 180-190 is why subies blow more than other cars-counterproductive modding.

I have a muffled Axleback purchased. Have it ready when I get that first complaint. And yeah the drone is hilarious at this point lol
aweseome numbers and the bay looks clean! which carbon fiber cover do you have for the intake snorkle? Thanks :)
It’s a full carbon replacement from NBR Motorsport

Nice I didn’t know Wrx can make these types of gains without an upgrade at Turbo
Be careful beyond that power limit the head stud have been stretching around 400hp
Really? I haven't heard anything about that so far but keen to know as I'm wanting that sort of power
@@dmedved9242 yeah it's resulted in a few engine failures so far. Love seeing big power, but new blocks aren't cheap!
According to Drunkmann its closer to the 450 range. Keep it at 400-420 and it should be golden.
I think I’ll make it just to 340 at least to enjoy my daily life 😆
@@dmedved9242 never heard of it either, multiple cars now have over 500whp with ets turbo kits 😂
For the awe track they use a resonator. So did you chop it off cuz thats what i kinda want to so 😅

what's your 0-60 with it?
Holy hell that thing is so loud lmao
This is awesome 👏
What do you have done to the exhaust system to make it sound like that?

Yes ETS catback and their J pipe. Easier to say turboback
