Amazing video. So far really enjoying this machine. Maybe a video about bringing samples in on the SD card and how to organize files within the SD card. You're the best.
These are cool and helpful tips as I am still just learning the PT Mini. Slicing samples will be cool once i have more than just the stock samples in there to play with. Great job drumming to the funkines of thst sample!
I felt the lack of the pads make beat slicing on the mini a bit underwhelming... I waited almost 3 months for mine and already contemplating a return after a few days... Trying to convince myself to keep it... Great videos as always... Looking forward to your M8 videos...
@@FreeBeat I love Polyend's OG tracker and the Play is also quite fun but I have yet to hear many non-influencers or any actual Polyend Mini purchasers to speak very highly of them... I sent mine back to Poland yesterday... The M8/dirtywave doesn't even offer a return policy so I think I will just build my own when I have some time... Still love the channel and looking forward to your opinion on the M8 when you get it though...
Hmm, I've been pondering pairing my SP-404 mk2 with my Kastle Drum yet while allowing the Kastle do its own modulated sequence and lock in a groove with a kick or whatnot on the 404. Then again, I'm also thinking of adding the new Kastle Arp to let the duo make up a rhythm to improvise around on my other instruments.
I need to try this slice function for myself. I made 2 beats on the polyend mini so far and I like it. With respect to the samples you chose: sample 1 was already pretty random of itself, I don’t think slicing something up that is already random will produce something completely different, I wonder what will happen if you try it with sweeps or other samples that have a kind of order or structure inside them. But I can find out for myself, because I definitely should try this out!
Kastl drum is amazing! But I’m somewhat surprised you don’t enjoy making full tracks on the Polyend tracker mini? I would really like the mini for its extreme portability. But as I have the old tracker I will not probably buy it in a long time, and I also really enjoy the workflow on the original with lots of dedicated buttons. I would however assumed you get used to the workflow in the mini very quickly?
I think I kind of misspoke. I definitely enjoy making full tracks on the Tracker. Just lately I've been enjoying doing this kind of thing way more. Giving myself a couple patterns to start with, and then taking those into other devices or software and continuing the work. The Tracker Mini (and full size Tracker, of course) are both excellent devices for making full tracks!
@sodiumlights thank you for respectfuly disagreeing and sharing positivity when a hater like me is around. The video is probably worth to watch indeed, especially that 08:18 part 😉
I didn't see that you ordered a Dirtywave M8? Looking forward to seeing you use it.
Yup, thanks!
Great stuff! It's good to hear the built-in microphone put to good use.
Thanks for watching!
That “stupid bell” sample, sped up, could be the sound effect of a running video game character.
We need an "oops, all droids!" drum kit and loop pack from you at some point 😂

Haha I'm not sure if I'm the right person to make an SD card organization video. Thanks for watching!
Very creative!👍
Thank you!
Very cool video.
Thanks!
Thanks for the great content and the shoutout… ✨👍✨
Thank YOU as always for the support!
Fun stuff!
Thanks!

Yeah it's not gonna be for everyone, but I definitely recommend giving it a little time to see if you adjust!

What is this guy doing hacking his way through this terrible video
❤
Totally disagree with that pretty wrong characterization. FB makes ace, informative and fun videos.

@@Sadiquecat 🤣what can I say except I should have been paying closer intention, but sometimes hungover ears just don't work as well as normal :)
@@sodiumlights No worries. Peace 💜
