      Thank you! That means a lot. Trying to keep the consistency going! But man, the possibilities are pretty wild. I had used wized v1 to build 2 sided marketplace. It is a big learning curve and took me about 6 months to get it all together as it was my first time getting into web apps.

      @@gammadesignco4102 Thanks for your response. Much appreciated. It would be great to connect at some point. I'm really early in my webflow journey and your videos has been so instrumental in my development. Would you say its worth learning JavaScript before learning Wized? What's the best way to learn Wized (maybe another video idea 😏)?

    • @gammadesignco4102
      @gammadesignco4102  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that is a great video idea! So I would say yes because that’s what I have been doing to get better at wized. You don’t have to, but it will help! Now I bought a javascript course from udemy. I am learning what I can to better help me with wized and write a line of code every now and then.

      Too be honest, I am not sure. I want to say yes, because I have seen some people some crazy stuff. But it might not be practical. I am releasing some wized content soon so you can see how this works!

    How’s the learning compared to Bubble? Bubble was driving me crazy

    • @gammadesignco4102
      @gammadesignco4102  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure actually, I have messed around with bubble, but didn't go through the depths I have went through with Wized. I can imagine it being better as Finsweet has great education for what they do. For me, it was fairly easy to get the hang of it after some digging around and trying functions out.

    I'm a fan of finsweet, but Wized (which I'm interested in) is extremely expensive and as far as I can tell, is not scaleable (pay per project rather than a developer rate for multiple projects). Makes it hard to provide to clients and turn a profit on.

    • @gammadesignco4102
      @gammadesignco4102  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a valid point. They did bring up that they were interesting in looking at a developer rate for that scenario but this is something that you’d offload to the client.
      For example, if they use zapier and some other tools to get some similar things done, they’d pay more.
      If they had it developed, they would need to have a developer to manage the web app needed if it’s larger and maybe pay for deployment as well as a longer turn around time in some cases.
      It is a tool that you can use as a option to achieve the goal for your client. You give them the information, benefits and drawbacks to make a decision.

      @@gammadesignco4102 Even webflow isn't perfect in this regard. I have my pro plan that allows me to develop as many sites as I want... but the hosting is 1:1. So I have to mark it up in order to make any residuals at all. And it doesn't scale... at all. (Unlike traditional hosting where you can pay a flat rate and host as many sites as the Linux server can handle). Very hard to run a business when you don't simply want to make project money, but want to get residuals from your clients as well.

    • @gammadesignco4102
      @gammadesignco4102  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do agree in both options! Personally I do dislike how I have to do hosting with webflow, either I charge them or completely move the site off my plan. It’s cumbersome and some clients are used to single digit hosting costs and it throws them off at times.

    • @crooker2
      @crooker2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gammadesignco4102 I bundle my hosting with a service plan that provides SOME value to the client, and allows me to charge more for the hosting. But it's a struggle because everyone wants something for nothing.

    • @gammadesignco4102
      @gammadesignco4102  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I haven’t come across the scenario, I just have them cover the hosting and pay for any major changes they might need
