  • Today we install the Valvomax oil drain on our vehicle and show you how it works. Oil stay contained as it travels from your oil pan through a hose and into a disposal tote.
    This kit will make oil changes easier and mess free. And you no longer need a wrench for your oil plug. Just twist the cap off by hand and twist on the fitting to release the oil.

    Great video! That adapter also fits any WPP oil jug (SuperTech, Kirkland, etc.). It isn’t fancy oil, but it performs pretty well in most tests and allows for a totally closed loop oil change procedure with no funky bottles around to spill.

    Very good video. I think the dipstick wiper is a waste of money. Check your oil before you start your vehicle in the morning.

      That is not actually the correct way to check oil. Your owners manual states to run the engine. Then when the engine is warmed up, turn the vehicle off and let the oil sit for 10 minutes and then wipe the dipstick and check. This will allow the proper expansion of the oil to get an accurate read. Here is a video I made illustrating the correct oil check process as many people get it wrong:

    I use a Kleenex that's good for as many wipes as I need.

      I do. I always say respect your vehicle and it will equally respect you back. I’ve only put a couple thousand km on this oil change. So far I’m liking the oil. But I won’t know 100% til I dump it. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe. I have a lot of really great material coming out in the coming weeks.

    Bill, looks like you're trying out different oil plug valves. There's also another one out there called Votex. Am curious how well it compares, flow rate, etc. It has a lower profile that I like, so...

      Thanks for the suggestion. I reached out to Votex via email and introduced my channel. They will be sending me one to demonstrate for the channel. Please like and subscribe to stay tuned

    How much longer did it take for the oil to drain with the ValvoMax vs standard
    drain plug?

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  ปีที่แล้ว

      About 6-7 minutes. But I hadn’t fully warmed it up so if fully warm it should take 5-6 minutes. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

    It's a hell of a lot quicker to just unscrew the original plug. Way to much junk to keep up with.

      Cover YOUR hands. lol. If dirty hands offend you then don’t work with cars. Work in an office.
