Well he does explain each step. I just did my 1st refurb on my 8yr old shelltoes...YELLOW soles & shells! I can tell you his methods are legit. He isn't hiding some secret step.
Showing off some new techniques. Thanks man! I was honestly, though, expecting you to come back saying that someone stole the shoe off of your manager's car - LOL! I'm way too paranoid to leave it outside, but it's good to know it can work this way as well. Thanks man!
@@JuggaloSupreme I was thinking how I could DIY that setup. I'm thinking of getting a fish tank, put aluminum foil on the inside, a little peg so the shoe can sit in setup getting maximum exposure, and then getting the light bulbs for the setup from Home Depot or something.
@@kontrolldkhaosPK - That's pretty much what he does. Like I said, you should email the company. They are very happy to answer any questions you might have, even about the stuff they don't sell. They even asked Vick a question for me and got back to me the next day. You should also look underneath his videos for links for the stuff he uses. The main thing you need to do is save up for a good quality UV light, not some cheap bulbs. Until then, the sun works great , especially if you live somewhere where it's not over 80 degrees right now.
@@JuggaloSupreme Thanks a bunch man. I'll email them and at least put in "The Ask". I have a feeling it's going to be important for me to know down the line.
@@kontrolldkhaosPK - No problem homie. It is always best to do all of your research and get all of your questions answered before you begin a project that you are not familiar with. I can tell you I made a couple of mistakes on my first restoration, although the shoes look fresh as hell regardless! Especially if you don't have to pay for the information, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't ask for the info. Good luck with your restoration journey!
Awesome video! I bought these in 2010 and still have them! Mine are in great overall condition except the sole needs to get swapped on one. The back foam on these started to break apart. Not sure why it was just my right foot. These are my favorite Jordans of all time. I love that they are the unique and were never re-released.
I can binge watch every video bro I've been wanting to get in to restorations and customizing and resell, watching you and retro sneakers and sneaker head by the bay really got me in to wanting to do stuff with shoes.

I know my comment and opinion is irrelevant but if you would’ve left the sole the way it was , they would’ve looked suppaaa hot fiyaaaa !!!! The way you painted the midsole gave me a fire red feel which I think looked really dope
Hi, are your custom sneakers made to be worn or only displayed? I tried to do like you and wear them but the paint doesn't hold thank you for your answers David
Depends on what your trying to do, if you want to remove paint or finisher definetly use acetone but if you just want to get the surface clean then you can use rubbing alcohol
Vic : This stuff is highly concentrated so don’t need more than one or two squirts
*squirts 3*
Right that’s What I was thinking
exactly
RIGHT😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If Jordan use Vick’s designs to make some new shoes they gonna be some heat
King Steven Vick customed a black toe J1 into a bred toe last year and like 6 months later it was at Finish Line.
I agree these custom 6s are 🔥🔥
Ikr, they look like a original colorway...

Yeah until I can afford my own "indoor setup," I put em in the back yard, but I keep checking em quite often!

Nike needs to hire Vick for new colorways. These, the Bredtoes, and the Forrest green 4s just to name a few. All of em are 🔥🔥🔥
I always look forward to Monday’s Vic is the man good stuff bro

Vick has awesome work and this one is no exception, however, I do agree that the jump man in the back should have been painted red to make it pop!
"This stuff is highly concentrated so you only need one or two squirts."
*Squirts 3 squirts*
He turned them into a beauty always impressed on his art work
You inspired me to paint shoes
kid quapo faaax!!
Exactly
Is there any reason to paint shoes with a brush over a spray gun or can u get a professional look with both ?
Nice custom, looks way betr!!! Love what u do on the yellowed soles Vick!! You give me great ideas for customs, thanx!!😎
Those off white thriller customs were 🔥🔥
The end result always amazes me when I see beat up shoes 💪🏾😁
Dope resto my man!! Redemption is yours
The shoe looks great with the new painting👍
That Thriller custom was crucial!!!!
I remember I had these and in 2013 great pair of shoes!
The colors are lit now🔥
Another great video! I learn something new all the time. You deserve a bigger office.✌
Fell in love with this custom I started making my own😏.
You’re the best Vick !!!!
When you take out the shoes from the washing machine to u put them in the dryer?
elvinfcb9 NOOOO
These are sooo sick no kap good shit Vick✊💯🔥
Brought this shoe back to life
Amazing work bro just like the thriller custom keep it up
These are clean! Thanks for another great video
Can the yellow reversing be done on icy gum soles?? I need to know
This is why I love mondays
Dope as usual. We need a full Ultra Boost restoration and custom though soon man.
Can you wear them without sole shields even though you dyed the soles?
Fire red 6’s 🤝💯
Vic, I would really like to see you restore a pair of Air Jordan retro 10 (the white, black, and steel)
Just beautiful, those are tough as hell
THE CUSTOM IS FIREEEEEEEEE
vicks the man for these ones
I can binge watch every video bro I've been wanting to get in to restorations and customizing and resell, watching you and retro sneakers and sneaker head by the bay really got me in to wanting to do stuff with shoes.
Nice custom/restoration 🔥🔥
The thriller jacket❤️
I hope Reshoevn8r works as good as they show, got my kit coming in this Friday🔥
That salon care 40 trick works on white soles, but within a month, without even wearing the shoe, the oxidation came right back for me
How did you build your indoor setup any help would be appreciated
Dope should’ve painted around the jumpman all black
Vick is back!
I've been waiting for a Jordan 6 custom :D

Bro i just wanted to let you know that the thriller off white air max came out perfect you couldn’t have done it better just looks dope👌🏻
Dope ass custom as always 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Am I the only one who like the yellowing? Makes the sneaker look retro af.
Nice custom! I thought you were gonna dye the icy part yellow tho that would’ve been hard!
They came out dope, you should've painted the jump man also, they would've looked even better.
Getting a Cardinal 7s vibe from these. Little tweaks here and there would make them perfect.
Vick: “You don’t need more than one or two squirts”
*puts 3 squirts in 🤣
After you wash them in the machine how do you dry them? In the dryer?
Thx Vick, it's so nice !!!
@reshoevn8r why not tape and air brush all the white?
Is It Weird That I Always Give The Video A Thumbs Up During The Ads?? Cuz I Know Pure Heat Wit Vick 🤘👑🔥🔥
On air max 90’s how do I clean the plastic lace hole pieces as they’re yellowing but the trainer is grey suede? Thanks
What happens if you don’t put the crud finish spray thing?
Nice custom 🔥🔥🔥
Out of curiosity, why would it take weeks to deoxidize the outsoles?
Dope custom, Vick! I could definitely see them releasing a colorway just like that sometime in the future.
Bro there’s nothing better than getting high af and watching my man Vick
Did the dye come off a lil when they were worn
You do a restoration on the Jordan 6 rings
😂🤣
Question: when I put my shoe in the washer am I able to use downy or any other produce or by its self
Pretty slick video bro, been subscribed to your channel now and this one is definitely one of my favourites. Looks clean and tidy, good effort bro 🤙🏻
“You only need 1-2 squirts”
Uses half the bottle
I really wish I could do this, keep up the great work!
You are so good at cleaning shoes
These 6’s hard asf
Jordan should release that color way
that was a good restoration
Would you be able to fix some really beat up French blue 7s
You should do more of these love the restorations and the customs you do. You make these shoes look better than new.
Clean shoe bro. But you should've painted the jump man and air logo in the back red.
Does the shoe dye crack or chip off under heavy sports use?
How can you clean hurraches especially the white ones?
Can someone answer this question i got. say i wanted to dye the sole of a basketball shoe. Will it leave marks or mess with the traction?
I know my comment and opinion is irrelevant but if you would’ve left the sole the way it was , they would’ve looked suppaaa hot fiyaaaa !!!! The way you painted the midsole gave me a fire red feel which I think looked really dope
I wanna do this with the denims
These are cold 🥶
Dope restoration/custom!How about the sole shields since you've painted the sole
Hi, are your custom sneakers made to be worn or only displayed? I tried to do like you and wear them but the paint doesn't hold
thank you for your answers
David
I need a pair of French blue 12s restored!
You ever look at the top comment and wish u said that earlier?
😂😂 NEEEEVER
You guys are bringing the custom paints back eventually tho right? and the miracle scratch resistant sealant lol
Do you alternate between left and right shoe for each video? Or just rejuvenate every left??
awesome custom Vick
You got to do a restoration on high top 11s please
Can I use rubbing alcohol for prepping?
Kelsey Molon yea
Depends on what your trying to do, if you want to remove paint or finisher definetly use acetone but if you just want to get the surface clean then you can use rubbing alcohol
Acetone is used for stripping paint, makes the job easier.
That’s why it’s in nail polish remover (what they use)
Can someone please tell me what are those yellow camouflage jordan 1s in the back?🤔🔥🔥
Rafael Gonzales what yellow Jordan 1s?
