Homemade Siomai Wrapper from Scratch

- Hello lovelies, today I'm gonna show you how to make a siomai/wonton wrappers from scratch. Wherever you are in the world you can easily make your own wrappers. Though store-bought siomai or wonton wrappers are quick and convenient, there's no substitute for homemade siomai or wonton goodness.
Here's what you'll need:
2 and a half cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup + 2 tablespoon water
-You have to use cornstarch for dusting because it doesn't have gluten so the dough will not absorb it.

Hello Jade, it will last for a week. :) This is a fresh siomai wrapper recipe so keeping it in the freezer for more than a week will affect it's texture :) Hope that helps.

@Winjay Diano hoy ikaw ata yung bobo, alam ko na pede kahit baso pede, pero yung tanong ko may purpose yun kase nakita ko kase yun ginamit sa ibang paggamit sa dough, hindi tulad sayo walang purpose, bulok pa ugali

Question: Is there any difference between lumpia wrappers and siomai wrapper? Or they are same
Lumpia wrappers can n0t be steam only for fry and for fresh lumpia,
lumpia wrappers are made from fried egg and flour while siomai wrappers are dough

Hello dear, please add 2 tablespoons of water gradually and continue kneading it. Pag dry pa din, add another 2 tablespoons of water hanggang manageable na sya for kneading. :) Hope that helps. Let me know okay.
