i love the subtle texture difference between the way Crow and Uldren speak. Crow's much softer and lighter while Uldren's is very sharp and wispy like smoke you can't grasp

So yes. He's basically been given both memories of uldren sovs. In the season of the lost Savathun gave his memories. And not until season of the haunted did he finally handle the ptsd and trauma. So now we have both.
For those that dont know Crow was supposed to be our guide in Destiny's Alpha but a week before the game launched they scrapped the whole campaign and made the exo stranger last minute. So technically uldren was never supposed to exist in the first place making Crow all that more likeable of a character to me at least knowing he was the original destiny 1 story guide
once I play the destiny 1 to get the vex gate lord I was dying 2 times and now have to do it again I was about to quite buy once he said kidding my heart was like God I don't need that stress again I don't need to sweat half way in be about 2 minutes in the game
Little lines like these are great, though I wonder if the game has this set up like the calus lines from lightfall to where he will say something different depending on if you have ever actually played D1 or not, because technically only guardians that started the game during the red war and played d1 have done all of the things.

I might be one of the few that still calls him Uldren. "Crow" feels more like a superhero codename. But I also still call him Uldren because it gives off more redemption vibes. He's one of the few, if not the only Guardian who actually got to remember his past life. And he's spending this new one trying to atone for his wrong doings. The redeemed Uldren Sov! Prince of the Awoken and Hunter Vanguard.
That would of been actually dope if he sent you to do like inverted spire to get the eye again or have us do it on heroic difficulty would have been cool

A part of me imagined a cutscene where we were sitting with Crow, and we went on to tell him about the first time we met. Like how he pulled a knife on us and talked to us like we were trash. Not to admonish him, but to kind of lightheartedly embarass him. Like him just saying something like "Heheh yeah... sorry bout that..😅" scratching the back of his head in slight shame. But only for us to be like "you do realize im just busting your ass right?" All to just laugh it all off in a nostalgic "tender" moment of bonding.
Man i did not like him at first because of how bungie went about his character but recently im actually liking his character more now especially after final shape
so people can make these callbacks but still freaked out when our guardian "spoke for the first time" in forsaken. bro he spoke in this same cutscene that's being referenced, we were not always silent. sorry, it was always a thorn in my side when I heard people freaking out over it.
