I did this and the true tone worked, but the phone still says the display is an unknown part. Do you get the same warning? Or is it from a more recent update?

It will give you that message regardless. Only way to remove it is to have apple do the screen replacement, sadly

@@saveyourcell Hi, I had the same question. If it doesn't transfer the complete EPROM content of the old display to the new, what does the iCopy do, then? Transfers the TrueTone and Touch settings?
