Brilliant stuff. I remember the Bus sheds in The Dingle too. Some of the lads that I went to Tech with when I was serving my Apprenticeship on the Spanners, worked at the MPTE Bus workshops on Green Lane. That was in the 1970s, Happy days.
I fondly rembembering travelling on all these buses at sometime or another & strangely & sadly i was quite fond of them. Sadly they are scrapped or destroyed most of them. just a very , very few survive by bus enthusiast that try to look after them i what we would call a loving home & come out at times to give others some travel to ride on them during certain events ( usually during the summer). But, sometimes at other times of the year.
a mate of mine looks after old buses in knowsley i love the older buses so much nostalgia ps @the stig i tried replying to the comment left on old nicks cave but can't seem to find it?
I remember the maroon Merseybus buses very well. Prior to that they were green. Used to get the 55 a lot. I seem to recall a bus depot on the left near Kirkdale Station on Hawthorne Road if my memory serves me. Don't go to Liverpool as often these days, but have many happy memories of it.
Many years ago when the depot was still there there was an original 1890s single deck tramcar commonly called a "Hamburg" car due to their origin that was used as a store shed
Merseybus/MTL seemed too quick to me for closing garages down and the demolishing them. As if someone was trying to suck as much money out of the company as they could
Very poignant George. You would get a lot more views if you put Liverpool first in your thumbnail as so many utubers search for it. Also make them a bit more dramatic or funny. Just trying to help as my career was in sales and marketing. Just the odd tweak would really propel your views and subscribers George.
@@g2emedia1977 I think your really entertaining George for what it’s worth. I’d just watch other utubers who keep mentioning their thumbnails. Theirs a channel who just does English breakfast fish and chips etc from cafe takeaway but his thumbnails are mental. He’s doing well so it must work for him his channel is the Macmaster I think. I am just finishing watching your feast from yesterday. I watched half of it yesterday. What was the quality like? I don’t think you’d expect much for the money but great if you have kids and on a tight budget. Anyway in my opinion you deserve a lot of success. 👍
@@bernadettefarrell8161 thanks Bernadette glad you get entertained by it mad to think a year ago i joined youtube just mearly to post one video of ms walking around alton towers when it was empty i kinda got addicted to making videos once i got a bit more confident in front of the camera glad i entertain people means a lot The feast box quality was quite nice although the fish fingers didnt have much taste but the gravy was lovely and gave it a really nice taste all round Macmaster yeh i watch him loved his teneriffe vlogs My thumbnails i think i will work on and possibly a better cover photo to Thanks as always bernadette for watching and support

Don’t forget to ask people to like,subscribe and share with their friends. Ask for comments on what they thought, would like you to cover. That all pushes your numbers up on uTube algorithms. They changed a few months ago. Now they go on thumbs up or down, comments left and notifications and subscribers. Waiting for the next one.👍🏻

My old depot when I worked as conductor on 4 & 5 route, first bus on the road 03. 40am, was LCPT in them there days
