    I was born in Flint Michigan. I live in Oregon now. Every morning I wake up and drink a fresh glass of water from my tap. EVERYONE deserves this right! The human body is 70% water. Take away our clean water you are taking away our lives. WATER is LIFE!

    As a kid, I and my sister was told a story that a guy swam 13ft across the Flint River and died from lead poisoning shortly after.

      @@deebest4202 it's not free by all means they went up 35% at the start of the killer lead water crisis . We was paying water bills every 3 months by city guide lines . Then they made the switch my water bill wasn't nothing but 30 to 40 dollars every 3 months . When the switch happen they made us pay monthly and my first bill was $978 💵 from 30 to 40 💵 every 3 months 🤔?

      @@deebest4202 yes they drop all charges on every defender SMFH . The special prosecutor Todd Flood gave them plea deals so therefore the judge had to go off that . They got rid of him . So now they gotta start from scratch and on a time limit . The bro and Kym Worthy prosecutor from Detroit to lead the new team and she ain't no joke. So as far as the lawsuit which is a class all under the same 🌂 they in mediation right now that's what the judge want them to and come up with a $ and the class action lawyers for the civil part and they still have make sure they accept the number or not .

    I joined the Boise Chamber of Commerce to bring attention to what was exposed in Idaho. While there, I talked to a guy representing the SBA. He stated that he worked for HUD representing the houses that they had affected by this issue in Flint. He said the corruption in this issue went all the way up into the Federal Government. When watching stories on this issue, you never see anything about federal Governments roll in this. It just all stops on a State level.

    Florida water tastes horrible and the hot water feels oily. All of our states need to check the water. So many are diagnosed with ADD & ADHD, depression, anxiety,etc. Could there be a connection? It’s worth checking!

      Seems like the actual issue is resolved but people have lost their trust of the government and remain very paranoid about it. I don't blame them either, but it is unreasonable for the government to provide bottled water when the water is now safe just to satisfy their fears.

      @@rockystelone21 Yes, you are correct. A while ago and recently I read the comprehensive report from NIH. What a mess! It is clear that the treatment plant was well under staffed, lacked materials, lacked proper maintenance, and in desperate need of parts and repairs. Not to mention a newer water sample before the plant would be able to operate efficiently. The head Engineer thought the switch was temporary for hydrant use possibly, so he said nothing. When he found out it was more permanent, he still said nothing to the City or the Manager. He is to blame for the poisoning of the water.

    You didn't mention that we had invested 10s of millions of dollars for a new pipeline but it had 2 years left to completion and the water contract with Detroit water was coming to an end so instead of Detroit letting flint sign a new 2 year contract they said no sign up for 20 more years or they were going to shut the water off and they did blame Democrats for everything that happened in flint and contines to happen.
