Thank you so much awesome video and explanation finally after a year I find out where can I get slider clips and all equipment, thanks tho you’re awesome, please share more videos 👌👍👍👍
I see a bunch of people are aware of this, but I wasn't. I see lots of advantages with this technique for large catfish from the bank, here in the states. Thx
Most the time you get it back from the weed. I run 50lb to the sinker so I can pull it out pretty hard and only really loose it if very snagged or a fish is fighting against it stuck
Great video guys Just a question When u use this technique with the spinning reel, do u tie and fg knot between braid and mono or u just tie the braid on the stopper clip?! I imagine u tie an fg knot to add some mono for abrasion purpose. Hopefully the sliding rig doesn’t get stuck in his way down on the fg. Thanks boys Keep up the good work 🤙🏻🎣🎣
hi we use a FG knot to the mono leader. the slide can easily slide over the knot. biggest thing with braid is keep the line tight or the slide clip could get tangled.
@@DixonsFishing 🤣always happens to me! I struggle to get the sinker anchored properly so the line is always a bit slack and big tangle happens I should probably try a rocky bottom spot 🤙🏻
Hi Guys, what model Avet is the reel you use? You mentioned it's an LX Raptor. Is that a custom handle, because the ones I've seen don't have that big handle. Did you get that one through Frank?
sorry. i wouldnt torture animals (bait)for hours as you say, not even for a catch... and i'm not even sure that (because of the cool way presenting the bait) you would really catch less with a dead bait...
Hartwig Zehentner ah ok, each to their own. Dead baits certainly don’t work as well. Have tried multiple times and a dead bait rarely gets eaten, even less likely to catch one with a dead bait over lures which are hard enough.

Really great video mate 🔝🎣🎣⚓😍😍🐟
Hey guys!! Just saw you guys on the Marshall hurt shout out! Just subbed! Cool video, keep it up
Awesome rig mate thanks for sharing. Do you lose the sinker every cast? Or do you muscle it out of the snag most of the time?

Liked. Subscribed.
what size solid rings do you use with the imp clips? thanks. gathering all the gear to give this style of livebaiting a go.
You can use any size really but size 5 is smallest that will fit nicely, we usually use size 7 so it releases easily.
Great video guys

Really nice. What type of shoes do you use when fishing on wet rocks? Thanks.
Vasilii Kulikov honestly best for grip on our wet rocks is a thick pair of socks. They grip better than any shoes we have tried yet
@@DixonsFishing interesting , actually good idea , wear a XL socks over your boot and good to go i guess?
You fellahs so lucky. Mean fucking spot 👍
How long does it take for ur bait to rrach bottom?
very interesting, you wouldn't want to lose to many rigs . EXPENSIVE
First time I've seen this channel, great content. Would you use these clips in the surf for mulloway?
Pretty cool system, subscribed.
Nanny Gai pretty upset he didn't reply to this comment as that's exactly what I'd like to know
yes you can
isnt this cooktown?
Really good info. Thanks for sharing. what sort of rod holder setup are you using for the rocks?
Prestige Tackle WA we just use a bit of pipe cut down to short lengths and smash them into cracks where we can
What size reel bro?
Awesome vid, subbed. What rod are you using? Looks like a beast.
the rod is a Maven coast 37-45kg 10ft
Can you pls make video how tutorial how to make slide bait set up pls thanks mate😆
just wish to ask for ur livebait what is the biggest livebait would u use for sliderbait? is a 1kg salmon/kahawai too much? haha
you can use baits that big but 500g is sort of a max we would use. if your sinker can hold it you can go as big as you want really
@@DixonsFishing gr8 thank you for ur reply. btw really enjoy ur sliderbait actions! really epic!
South west rocks?
Wooooow. nice
Nice catch.... Are those good eating?
not the best eating, we make fish cakes out of them or currys mostly
Cheers for the tutorial boys

hi mate yeah we have put a JX handle on the LX raptor and frank sourced it for us yes.
Great, like the conversion.
My oh My. Why is the size of reel so big?
because 10kg kingfish is stronger then 60kg european catfish, had both on my rod, pelagic fish pulled like tractor
good work... can you tray in my cuntry? Oman
Do you have a link for the slide bait things? I can't find the ones you guys use. Thank you

Thank you
hello ,
how do you make mobile hook in minute 7"30 in this video, can you make a video to show us how you do it
thx
They are called non return slide clips and can be bought from a lot of stores mostly South African or Hawaiian technique.

cool Rig. but live baits suck
Certainly prefer lures but I would rather catch a fish than get nothing for a day of huge effort.
