Back in the day fixed wing was all we had! Of course adding FPV and electric propulsion take it to a whole different level. But even with just LOS, fixed wing is a lot more fun than MR IMHO.
If the camera is gopro, it will be even more beautiful if you fix the camera stabilisation in left or right turns in your movements, so that when the drone turns, we do not turn our heads left and right :)

I'm having my slow transition into fixed wing from flying quads for a while and your content has been super enjoyable to watch. also i must say your video editing skills are superb, audio and video cuts are very smooth and non-intrusive. yeah but i can fly my fpv drone almost everywhere legal but fpv wings not… so sadly no option in most eu country to do it legal without huge impact on the fun :/

You can see the nose of the plane is moving at the bottom of the frame, that's because the gyroflow or whatever moving the visible part of the frame around. In the unstabilized footage the nose of the plane would be steady but everything else shaky.

I once tried power looping an excavator through analog and just as I am approaching realised it was operating with someone in there then gave a quick decission to turn it into an immelmann turn half way to get away

Lol! Im sure that's just a joke. That is excellent footage and also looked like alot of fun. The aircraft and setup appears to work well. It's fast and cool. Unfortunately we do have laws, but we should have them. Who knows how they will change. The thing is, there is a bit of scale type of perspective going on and it is fast. It would probably be very easy to get lost in your own world and get carried away. He was going along the shoreline, I enjoyed that part, and then there was a fisherman. Oops. He saw an excavator, when our flying, it would be fun to fly through obstaces. A common thing to do with fpv. "Issue 2" When this first lifted here in the states, and this guy means no harm, he's obviously just trying to have fun and get footage, there were people filming those they shouldn't. For other airplanes and helicopters, we usually fly at a field. There are rules we follow for safety. With camera, we can go much further than we normally would. We also have a flight ceiling to avoid commercial airspace, and we are not supposed to fly at a certain distance from Airports. Still, very nice footage!
this setup would be a dream come true for me, but can that plane return to home if signal loss??? such a risk I am willing to take. I already experienced signal loss with a mini 2 but luckily I had the return to home set high and got it back.

Just look at how the nose is wobbly in in the stabilised footage,, that’ll give you a clue. Getting silk smooth FPV feeds from a fixed wing is very difficult, it almost has to be a perfect zero wind day for that to happen.

I will upload a video soon, so check it out. It is with a DJI mini 2 se. I want to fly between those mountains continually and eventually will get all the footage I need to put it together. I find going 10 meters per second and speeding up the footage 4x to be a good speed to relax and enjoy, but it is so important not to rotate the drone while doing this. This stuff does not seem to get much views but I will perfect the idea gradually anyways for that nice shot. So hard to comply with all our laws but I can legally fly higher when near those mountains.

I think you are flying very irresponsibly, far too low and too close to the objects. Even the people walking on the beach are certainly not amused when a plane comes flying at such speed with a small distance and altitude. But they are still nice impressions👌

All in description I use 4s because it’s my base setup for all my drones For o3 use UBEC to 12v, it’s much safer than connecting straight to the battery

Where is this filmed? I liked the video but I got about half way through and started to write this it kinda creeped me out cause I didn't see ANYBODY on the beach on the long single fly by shit and it just really freaked me out for some reason. I'm gonna go back and finish watching it and then slow it down cause I'm sure there has to be somebody out there that I missed, I'm sure of it, right, I mean........surely....Wow that freaks me out n I don't know why...
