I just got one of these, like new and I love it. The red fume dial and the hands and indecies really make it in my opinion.The bezel is another reason I bought it as I have friends in different countries so I use it a lot. Thank you for the review. This is one of my favourite watch channels!

I bought this watch back in February (2022) and it is fantastic, one of my favourite watches. The clasp, bracelet and case is so much better than the versions 1 and 2. The dial is beautiful and I think looks better than the Orient Kamasu that I had been planning to buy. The hour hand is perhaps a little small, but everything else is great. I certainly don’t think it is too thick. Having got the burgundy, I slightly wish I had got the malachite as well, but that sold out even quicker. Phoibos are great value, and the lava red Apollo is another of my favourite watches.

This one looks really good. Love the dial, that red on black colour matching on the date wheel is spot on IMO even though it mighn't be the most legeble as you mentioned. Still, never seen anyone going that far before with colour matching.
That attention to detail is really appreciated for sure.

Great looking watch. I have a Phoibos Leviathan which has gotten lots of wrist time, and I'd buy another Phoibos without hesitation. I love their logo, too. Hail Hydra!

@@EscapeWheel I got it in DLC with the white dial (PY032E) and I like it so much I almost want another one in steel (blue dial). I changed the hands out because the original ones were too narrow to support enough lume, and I love it even more after that mod. It was my first time removing & installing hands (that second hand took some patience!). The case is a great design - it really hugs the wrist & helps a big watch to wear well. Anyhow, I'll keep watching! 🍻
This piece is a middle of the road for me, the brand has other stuff I like better but thanks for the review. I am a tall guy and my big hands make small watches look bad on me, the case on this one is massive!!
Phoibos is a brand i respect a lot for what they bring out, always interesting watches and a great logo as you said too.
As for this one, got two nitpicks. First the date, doesn't match imo. Second, the ceramic bezel insert is rather shiny for this dial, i'd say. Other than these, this was and still is a great watch to get on this red dial. But gilted dials of Phoibos are top, always! (sorry, but it's true...)

Thanks Stavros, I was tempted to get the black/Gilt but I e got that covered in the watch box (SN004). No red dials so this was a pretty easy choice for me.
I'd wanted a Phoibos Voyager for a while and this version made me pull the trigger. Unfortunately it was just too thick (more black bay pro than black bay 58) and I sent it back. I find smaller watches are more affected by thickness like that, which makes them feel short, squat and bulbous.
I can see that...the vertical brushing doesn't help either. The BB heritage/pro are defutoo thick just visually...this one juuuussssttt gets by for me.
This one surprised me. It looks great on wrist….hmmmm…it wasn’t on my list but now I think it is.
It's pretty cool. Red isn't my color really, been thinking of selling this one. If your in the US I'll tempt you with a great price. 👍
I'm a big fan of phoibos watches but I've never owned one - why? Because everyone is too thick 14mm is just too thick - they need to be producing these watches much closer to 12mm imo

Really? Been following the voyager for a couple years, TH-camrs called the one with the Yachtmaster style bezel V2, and they are calling this V3....but to be honest, I'm not sure what V1 is.
I'm no fan of this watch at all. Firstly it's too thick and there is too much polishing on the bracelet. I don't like the mixture of diamond shaped and hexagonal indices and finally the hour hand is too thin and out of proportion. The black and red datewheel looks misaligned and it's hardly legible. Just my two cents!
