  • In this video, I start with 16-gauge wire, which will be forged into shape. I'll then solder the studs to transform them into a pair of huggie hoops. Finally, I'll hammer the pieces to add a textured finish.

    You too. Thanks. I find copper easier now because I started with it and am so used to the higher melting temp. Melted a lot of silver posts,lol.

    Thanks. This has been very helpful. I'm going to try them. I tried copper hoops with a silver stud but I had so much trouble connecting the stud with flux. I melted 3 18 g. handmade studs on just one hoop. Finally got it using copper studs in 20 g. But it was a struggle. Love all your videos.

      You're very welcome! I am glad that my content help you to create.. about the silver and copper, this make sense, the copper melting point is higher than those of silver. Some people are so good at mixing the two, I haven't done that so far. I would love to see the result of your work 🥰😍 Have a good day!
