How to Make Small Hoop Stud Earrings: A Complete Tutorial
Hello everyone, a lot in this video! I am remaking the circle stud earrings only this time is with silver. You will see me being vulnerable, which is messing up the solder (oops!) and boy do I open up about not being alone, you will hear people whistling and playing music here! As if this is not your everyday tutorial video, it isn't. Should change the title into this: "unlocking my personality" hehe, I am just playing.
On a serious note, you also will see how to fix a messed up solder, and how to form a complete circle, how to sand a bulky solder, and most importantly to know how to fix problems. Just like in life, things happens!

Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a video I recorded before summer vacation about creating a bezel set for a rose cut stone. Please take the content with a grain of salt, as it’s more of a bench activity than a tutorial. While the video is organized for clarity, I don’t have all the answers-this is a community discussion. So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s dive into this conve...

    I've just started watching your tutorials and haven't made any of your beautiful pieces yet but I plan to. I'm on Instagram and wire working is my second favorite hobby. I used to do epoxy resin but got head and neck cancer. I'm no longer using epoxy resin and have started wire working and weaving. I find it to be quite enjoyable. I've not made any wire tutorials as I don't have enough followers. Maybe one day I will finally get enough. Until then I'll keep watching and subscribing to channels I find helpful to my craft.Thank you for your very informative videos!!!

    Thank you for this video! I’m wondering why you choose to wire wrap instead of using jump rings?

    • @Siebijoux
      @Siebijoux 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's honestly just an intuition, the wire wrap is a touch of handmade and gives a different accent. It might look better with jump rings now that I think about it 😀for sure you can use jump rings.

    • @Ilovejewelry06
      @Ilovejewelry06 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No, no. I think it looks great with a wire wrapped look- just a lot of work! Haha. That’s why I ask… but that makes a lot of sense about just intuition. Honestly, I thought you were gonna say that it’s bc it makes it much more secure. Bc sometimes just closing with a jump ring that is not soldered shut can come apart… it’s happened to me. So that’s why I thought it was interesting that you wire wrapped it instead. Thanks for the video!

    Hello and thank you for sharing your expertise in soldering GF. There are not many videos online about this. But I have a question for you. I notice that you don’t use gold solder chips, but regular paste solder. Doesn’t that leave a gray/silver color behind, and how do you get that off of the gold jewelry piece, or not let it show? Oh, and one more question. You are right about GF scratching easily. Can you link where to buy some good nylon pliers that you tend to use that work well? Do you use round nose, flat nose and chain nose plastic covered pliers? Thanks in advance!

    • @Siebijoux
      @Siebijoux 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ilovejewelry06 thanks so much 😄 the 14k gold paste solder normally has the same quantity of gold as the chip, the difference is the paste has some flux included in it. But then it depends on the brand I think. For the pliers brand I have pairs of beadsmith and Lindstrom that I use all the time. And to prevent from scratching normally just cover it with ductape 😅 it works. But then I don't do that with my Lindstrom. Hey Goodluck please let me know the result 😄😄😄

    • @Ilovejewelry06
      @Ilovejewelry06 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah, ok. I didn’t know your paste solder was 14k gold paste solder! I’ve never seen this before. I thought your solder was the regular kind that you use with silver, etc. I don’t think I’ve seen this at Rio. Where do you get it, and do you like it better than the 14k soldering chips? I just thought that the yellow gold soldering chips would match the color of the gold filled better. (Have not tried this at all yet; still very afraid!)
