Bonjour et bienvenue à Siebijoux Studio Diaries!
Hello 'm Si. Who would have thought that moving to France leads to this journey of self-discovery?
leaving 9 to 5 and exploring my passion for jewelry making has opened up a lot of door. From creating one piece to a hundred, I summoned the courage to open my first Etsy shop, which led me to learn how to do other things: photography, social media, marketing, e-commerce.
This year, the big leap is to open my TH-cam Chanel, launched on May 3, 2024! I am still awkward to introduce myself on the video, but tbh I am loving this! Everyday is a new discovery. Here you can find me making tutorials on jewelry making, tips and tricks, and personal advice for anyone interested in this craft, along with glimpses into my daily life. This is so much the beginning hopefully I am able to share more. Would you like to (virtually) visit Paris with me?
Stay tuned for more, bisous

Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a video I recorded before summer vacation about creating a bezel set for a rose cut stone. Please take the content with a grain of salt, as it’s more of a bench activity than a tutorial. While the video is organized for clarity, I don’t have all the answers-this is a community discussion. So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s dive into this conve...

Very pretty, I love this style of your wire wrapping
Transpiration is a part of plant systems. Perhaps Perspiration (body sweating) is the word you meant? They are similar words with similar meanings. 😊
Hi wonderful video simple but very informative. Please can we have the formula added? Thank you so much looking forward to the next one!
Thanks so much, I added the formula on the description
So pretty! Love the stones, can i ask where you found them?
these are really cute...thank you...hugssss💚💚💚
Great video
I really want to learn 🥹
The ha.mered textured finish. But I like both. ❤
HI :) Im trying to buy the same hammer, but they come in different weights its kind of confusing :(
@@KarelZabalaR which site are you looking at? The one I have is the goldsmith hammer, 17mm diameter head
@@Siebijoux riogrande 🙃they have like 100 hammers hahaha and each one has like 3 different sizes
The most simple thing ever
So how do you make these?

I've just started watching your tutorials and haven't made any of your beautiful pieces yet but I plan to. I'm on Instagram and wire working is my second favorite hobby. I used to do epoxy resin but got head and neck cancer. I'm no longer using epoxy resin and have started wire working and weaving. I find it to be quite enjoyable. I've not made any wire tutorials as I don't have enough followers. Maybe one day I will finally get enough. Until then I'll keep watching and subscribing to channels I find helpful to my craft.Thank you for your very informative videos!!!
I've not seen you before today. I subscribed and hit the like.I love the way the heart and chain turned out. I've got 2 grand girls and one great grand girl. I plan on making each one a heart with chain. Thanks for the tutorial!!
Thank you! I would love to see the result ❤❤
Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
About a thousand times. Everyone does things differently. I tried to pick up little hints and incorporate what works best for me. Still doesn't work sometimes. But I try.❤❤
Good job 👏👏👏👏
Thank you for this video! I’m wondering why you choose to wire wrap instead of using jump rings?
It's honestly just an intuition, the wire wrap is a touch of handmade and gives a different accent. It might look better with jump rings now that I think about it 😀for sure you can use jump rings.
No, no. I think it looks great with a wire wrapped look- just a lot of work! Haha. That’s why I ask… but that makes a lot of sense about just intuition. Honestly, I thought you were gonna say that it’s bc it makes it much more secure. Bc sometimes just closing with a jump ring that is not soldered shut can come apart… it’s happened to me. So that’s why I thought it was interesting that you wire wrapped it instead. Thanks for the video!
Great job!🦋
You too. Thanks. I find copper easier now because I started with it and am so used to the higher melting temp. Melted a lot of silver posts, lol.
Great tutorial. Very well explained. Can't wait to give it a try.
@@marciamckean7926 thank you 🥰
The earrings please!
Had a question- sometimes at the soldering joints in GF jewelry there is a little discoloration that cannot be avoided in the final product. Do you customers have a problem with this? And complain or return? TIA!
@@Ilovejewelry06 very small discoloration that can be easily polished. There is also a good cloth to polish the jewelry at home
Keep these videos coming! There is not a lot of material like this on TH-cam for GF. I checked out your store and your supplier’s store too!👍🏼
Hello! I bc a see the glob of solder flow and leave behind a gray bit of it on the GF piece. However, when shown the end product, that gray is not visible. What do you do to take that gray solder part off?
@@Ilovejewelry06 you can polish them with a polishing compound. I always use zam but I heard good things about fabuluster. You can use luster or rouge I think.
Oh ok. Ahh lots to buy! But I like your tip on Lidl (did you say?) for rotary heads. We have that here on the east coast of the U.S. I will have to decide to go all in or not with this. Haha.
@@Ilovejewelry06 if you live in the US, that's the capital of the gold filled 😅 you can find anything anywhere.
Hello and thank you for sharing your expertise in soldering GF. There are not many videos online about this. But I have a question for you. I notice that you don’t use gold solder chips, but regular paste solder. Doesn’t that leave a gray/silver color behind, and how do you get that off of the gold jewelry piece, or not let it show? Oh, and one more question. You are right about GF scratching easily. Can you link where to buy some good nylon pliers that you tend to use that work well? Do you use round nose, flat nose and chain nose plastic covered pliers? Thanks in advance!
@@Ilovejewelry06 thanks so much 😄 the 14k gold paste solder normally has the same quantity of gold as the chip, the difference is the paste has some flux included in it. But then it depends on the brand I think. For the pliers brand I have pairs of beadsmith and Lindstrom that I use all the time. And to prevent from scratching normally just cover it with ductape 😅 it works. But then I don't do that with my Lindstrom. Hey Goodluck please let me know the result 😄😄😄
Ah, ok. I didn’t know your paste solder was 14k gold paste solder! I’ve never seen this before. I thought your solder was the regular kind that you use with silver, etc. I don’t think I’ve seen this at Rio. Where do you get it, and do you like it better than the 14k soldering chips? I just thought that the yellow gold soldering chips would match the color of the gold filled better. (Have not tried this at all yet; still very afraid!)
First one pls

Very nice simple earrings, thanks so much for sharing!
@@patredden4557 thank you ✨
Hi! I have question. How do you protect your earring post tips after cutting and filing them?
@@aki4587 hi good question. The tip of the post is so small that you can almost ignore it if it change color. I suppose the manufacturer of goldfilled are matching the color of the base metal too.. So I don't see any difference so far..
@@SiebijouxI see! Thank you!🥰
@@aki4587 you're welcome. Please tag me if you make one 😀✨
Thank you. where did you get the solder, please
@@lizmathyssen6462 it's better to look at the spec and try to find it on the internet. I think it's 14k gold solder paste can be a good keyword for search

I am so glad that you like this :) Thank you
It's cute, I would have preferred that the braid was slightly tighter. I hope that you're feeling better.

@@Siebijoux I look forward to it; keep up the good work.
Beautiful earrings. Thank you.
Most welcome 😊
Thanks. This has been very helpful. I'm going to try them. I tried copper hoops with a silver stud but I had so much trouble connecting the stud with flux. I melted 3 18 g. handmade studs on just one hoop. Finally got it using copper studs in 20 g. But it was a struggle. Love all your videos.
You're very welcome! I am glad that my content help you to create.. about the silver and copper, this make sense, the copper melting point is higher than those of silver. Some people are so good at mixing the two, I haven't done that so far. I would love to see the result of your work 🥰😍 Have a good day!
