Not sure why these two gentlemen’s names were brought up to say who was corny. Joe Clair is a comedian but he’s definitely “of the culture”. Stamped and certified. He used to rap with the guests too on Rap City. Tigg is from The BRONX so even if he didn’t rap, he was still born directly in Hip Hop culture. I don’t think there’s anything “wrong” with how he did things. Speaking of opinions, I hate the ones that people have that they feel are just the definitive way of looking at things. Like yeah I think this and I’m RIGHT. Whatever you think is not legitimate AT ALL. Life in general, I think there’s just FAR too much meat massaging and salami surfin’. It’s DISGUSTING. On a side note but maybe not really, I wonder what a west coast version of Rap City would look like.🤔
Nah, I don’t think he’s saying Joe and Tigger aren’t of the culture because he did say Tigger was hard and for Joe he had pretty much let it be known that he no longer sees him as corny due to the type of cats who are out these days who are truly corny.
He’s essentially saying a number of the professionals who speak on Hip Hop these days are truly corny and it comes off as him saying they are corny because many of them are not of the culture and they say things that prove it. Since he’s seeing a level of corny in Hip Hop that didn’t exist back in the day, his definition of corny applies to those types; not Joe or Tigger.

Joe Clair was real cool i thought Tigger was cool at first but he was a cornball and he tried to use his position to get a record deal always jumpin in the booth trying to freestyle with the guest.Like dude sit down dont nobody wanna see you rap.Finally Too Short threw him on one of his albums but ol boy was annoying
Ed Lover & Dre were essentials. Ralph McDaniel was classic. Fab 5 Freddy was the mecca. Crazy Sam def had his annoying moments sometimes. Joe Cleezy, Big Les, & Tig were cool i guess.
