Ozone 10/11 Stabilizer + Ozone 11 Clarity = MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. I'm not being superfluous here!

Using the demo of ozone 10 right now and this stabalizer is the reason I'm seriously considering upgrading. It like magic on all my tracks. Specifically the cut mode.

Thanks for the walk through. It sort of seems like a cross between Gullfoss and Soothe2. Similar to MtM RESO as well. Seems very useful.

I really like the Stabilizer module. I had zero interest in it when I got Ozone 10, since I assumed Soothe2 (which I already have) would still be my go-to. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it does in taming the buildup of harsh frequencies in a rock guitar mix--specifically, I was shocked to find how effective Stabilizer was in getting crunchy guitar mixes to translate well on smartphone speakers. Really digging Ozone 10, I'm happy I upgraded my v9.

I’ve been with iZotope since version 3 of Ozone and have always felt their EQ is superb. I want absolutely nothing to do with automatic anything. I just want you to know you still have pro users. Don’t go too far down the rabbit hole of amateur users. It’s great you offer that, but please don’t forget about the other end of your market.

It is remarkable what possibilities of "precise surgical work!" possible with such modules.
But one thing should be clear to us and I have certain concerns about it. To the extent that I strongly doubt whether such subtleties will even be noticed by the audience.
How is music (mostly MP-3...) mainly consumed these days? By cell phone (mobile-phone) and via Bluetooth headphones, usually not fully concentrated on the music. Because - only on the side, i.e. on the way to work, on the bus, on the train, on the bike, while jogging, in the fitness club/gym and so on.
And if you don't have "trained producer ears" anyway, like we do, you probably won't really notice it in most cases anyway.
Mind you, I'm referring to subtle changes here that we sometimes mess with "for a while", 0.5dB here, extremely subtle changes in saturation there, EQ and compression factor factor and so on. If it's just rumbling around in the lows and/or the highs are too harsh, everyone will of course notice that, even if you're listening to music via Bluetooth headphones.
Of course we want to deliver a good (and for us best) product to our own satisfaction. And because we enjoy screwing around.

I hear your point but it’s kind of funny as well since Ytube is where we’re sitting right now and it supports better than CD quality. Incidentally Ytube is where a lot of new music is discovered… for free.

Auch wenn es Plugin Boutique stört. IZotope hat mehr Schaden innerhalb des NI Konsortiums. Ist bei mir vom Rechner verschwunden. I did delete near all iZotope programs from my workstation. I just use Iris2 and Breaktweaker.

Doesn't gullfoss do this since like a long time? Looks like a copy cat. 🤭

Don't think so, they're pretty different. Ozone has a free trial so you could try it out for yourself!
