Question: Ozone's 10 mastering assistant doesnt use a compressor on its AI mastering chain. why? should i use a compressor on my master bus before i open ozone 10?

Hello. I believe, and I could be wrong, that the Impact Module is taking the place of normal compression with its micro-dynamics processing. The Impact module is going to be much more precise and flexible in terms of results. - JC

In addition to master assistant, which is almost like a custom preset based on your audio, there are a bunch of new global presets for Ozone to try out as well!

Yes, Standard version just doesn't have the two new modules - Impact and Stabilizer - which are two that the Master Assistant will use
