Honda CR-V has proven to be a very reliable and safe SUV. In this video, we are going back in time to explore if Honda CR-V has always been at the top of safest SUV since it was introduced to the US market in 1997.
One thing to keep in mind is that IIHS has added over the years additional requirements for a vehicle to be qualified as the safest in its category.
This means that a vehicle that has passed all the safety requirements this new may not be the safest the following year after a new safety requirement was added and its current model does not include the newly added safety feature.
