@@alessiaabagnale1949 Sadly I agree. These type of videos are becoming tedious. Testing products I will never buy. I really would love seeing the makeup videos come back on the channel.
I'd like to see a "clutter rewind" video showing durable and well-made products that replace low quality items. Her product testing of insulated cups was brilliant, delivered quality recommendations, and was just in time to find alternatives when Stanley had a recall.
I know it was a joke, but I would absolutely watch ‘Rachel is angry and disgruntled’ as you rage craft. We need to know how hard these things are to actually put together!! Thank you for being so genuine. ❤❤
To those wondering, juniper berries have more of a "pine tree" scent. As someone who gets headaches from that type of scent, I figured I would share for others like me💜
Omg Rachel I LOVE the book nooks and tiny houses 😂 I have built over 200 of them. I get they are not for everyone and can be very frustrating sometimes but I find them so relaxing. I don’t buy the kits anymore I build mine from scratch now. But the tulip lamps are beautiful, I have a purple one. ❤ Deep breaths and try and enjoy when you’re crafting 😂
I've been loving the tiktok shop videos! I've been subbed to you since around 2017ish?, when we were doing ALL the beauty challenges (miss those) and I stay because of the TRUST! You're one of the only beauty content creators that I genuinely think will give an honest opinion. I kinda forget that we aren't friends who talk about makeup and cooking together LOL because when I see a product or a recipe going viral I immediately think "I wonder if Rachel liked this". Anyways! Just wanted to say thanks for the years of content and that I've been having fun with these!
I swear by the gold bond brand of lotions. Their foot cream is top notch and I have recently turned 54 & I’m having problems with my arms and hands looking crepe while they do have a cream for crepe skin I tried the age renew retinal overnight one and I’m obsessed, simply obsessed. It takes away your crêpe skin and it is fabulous. There is no scent but that’s fine because I have a plethora of perfumes. I am usually a bougie gal but when I want something that targets an issue with my skin gold bond comes out five stars every time.
Which one are you using for hands and arms. There’s a few different ones. I live in NY and winters are freezing leading to dry crepe looking skin from over washing hands. Could you put the exact names of what you use. Thanks in advance.
@ The retinol overnight one. I can’t tell you the difference it’s made on my arms and hands. Although I have not tested it in the winter we are just approaching that, I live in Las Vegas.
Okay I'm just going to make a comment here that I've been thinking for quite some time. Watching her put the little tulip craft thing together, I have to assume that when she bought it she was aware that there was going to be quite a bit of fiddling and craftiness required. But then she gets frustrated by having to actually put together the product... For me, I just wouldn't buy or review anything that was not something I would personally like, or else I would give it a really good try. It was not enjoyable for me to see her getting frustrated. Maybe I just don't like seeing people get frustrated. But I just kept thinking that this product probably wasn't really for people with her interests or personality. Not that I'm defending the product. I don't personally want to buy it, myself, but I think you have to accept the work that's going to be involved when you get started with a project. Kind of like if someone bought a Woobles kit and then they were annoyed that they had to read the instructions and actually make it. I remember her reviewing those little silicone water ball things that are a replacement for water balloons. I have a lot of those and think they are super awesome, but when you fill them, as they show in EVERY product video and all the instructions, you have to submerge them fully in water and then let them close up with the magnetic closures. But then she was reviewing them and just held them under the tap and said that they weren't worth the hype because they didn't fill up completely. But that wasn't what the VERY clear instructions tell you to do. It makes me wonder if she doesn't always select the prducts she reviews (like has a family member order them) and so therefore hasn't seen how much time is involved or what needs to be done to make them work? It's just something I feel like I keep noticing.
Yeahhhh that's not my experience 😂😂 I buy craft projects because I WANT to be someone who isn't frustrated by the time/fiddly-ness of them. And every time when I go to do them, I give it my best shot, and then get enraged. It's probably an adhd/autism thing. Adhd says 'ooh fun!' and autism says 'I will throw this out of the window'
I’ve noticed that too. With a lot of products like the light, people find them enjoyable because they have to put them together. It’s like high-stakes legos 😂 I know there are people who don’t enjoy that but that just means the product isn’t meant for that person
I have just noticed for a long time that she rarely reads instructions…… until she starts to use something and then realizes she has no idea how to use it properly, so then gets frustrated and decides to read instructions or watch a video explaining how to use it properly.
Hi! I have been using the Caliray tubing mascara for so long now! I love it and I love how it doesn’t smudge. Every si gel gorgeous mascara smudges on me and gives me raccoon eyes, but this one is perfect. I’m so glad you finally tried it 🩷
Being from Canada South (Wisconsin) i always feel at home with your videos. Especially when you say bag and about. It always makes me think hey my people lol
❤ hi Rachel I accidentally found my favorite body cream. It’s not supposed to be a body cream. It’s labeled as a foot cream. it’s Dr. Teall’s foot cream in a tube sounds strange but wait there’s more. .😂 it’s thick and creamy but not too thick. 14:21Still kind of light and the smell is amazing. It smells like real vanilla. I get compliments on the scent all the time and people knew it was cream. They would think I was crazy. I traveled out west Utah from New York State this summer when I got back my skin was so dry. Nothing would help. I tried my foot cream. And I’ve been using it ever since no more dry skin no more dry elbows. I am 61 years young so my skin is a bit drier than it used to be, but I swear by this stuff and it goes along way too.
Dime’s biome body butter is really lovely for dry patches. Marin has a very innovative cream that’s awesome and designed for people with eczema and sensitive skin.
I use Ahava dry body oil it helps with dryness on my knees & elbows iv been putting it all over my body for sometime & it not only smells good it’s fast absorbent but it keeps your skin moisturizer especially in the winter months ❤
I’ve had that Caliray (autocorrects to Calgary lol) for longer than I should have for an open tube, and it doesn’t flake on me (most mascaras raccoon on me) and it hasn’t dried up
I have recently started using Amallow Tallow and LOVE IT! I got the orange cream scent and it's delicious but doesn't over power perfume. If you see this maybe give it a try. ❤
❤❤❤❤ eyelash curling hack❤❤❤❤ If you haven't already done this or if you did I'm sorry that I'm late to the party, what I do and it works wonderfully is you warm your eyelash curler with your hair dryer and then curl your lashes before you put on your mascara. I highly recommend a plastic eyelash curler for this hack! The metal ones can get hot and you don't want to burn your eyelid! If you do use the metal ones always touch it to your wrist to make sure it's not too hot!
Love the caliray mascara!! I’ve had it since spring and the formula is the same! The Josie Maran body butter is okay. I personally feel like it never absorbs. It just sits on the skin and feels oily. In summer it runs off onto my leather sofa. ☹️
Hi hello, watch all your videos. First time commenting. You should try the lotion product “gloves in a bottle”. Shouldn’t sting you, is not scented. Dried fast and non oily, doesn’t wash off, etc. you can usually get it pump bottles, flip top, or travel size. You’re welcome
The best combo is the Mac primer and the IT Cosmetics super hero mascara. It looks like I have falsies on. The best!! My lashes are stick straight and do not curl at all.
Can we do another influencer buy video!!! I love those! (I understand if there isn’t much influencer product to buy but I loveeeeee knowing your opinion!)
Am I the only weirdo who puts my mascara on with the corresponding hand? I can’t use my right hand to mascara on my left eye. I’m guessing the pony holders will go to Lo and Dibs. As for the tulip garden, Rachel, you just need to admit that you don’t have patience for fiddly little projects.
Juniper berry is what goes in gin, so it probably wouldn't smell like, say, raspberry or mixed berry. And you need to be WAY more patient with the tulip light thingy, take some time and enjoy the craft. Looks fun to me
I love the Lash Paradise mascara, but it's a really dry formula so it dries out very fast. I put in a couple drops of eye drops and it's good as new again.
Juniper berry definitely doesn’t smell like a berry.. so that is probably why you didn’t smell any berry notes haha To me it smells very piney very earthy and fragrant. We live around it in Arizona and it’s what’s used to make Gin as well. 😁
I got the tulips off of Temu and they actually weren't that difficult to assemble! (And I'm not a crafty person). I was LOST at first but looked up a TH-cam video and used that. The "light the end of the glue stick" is weird though - just use a hot glue gun if you have one. The outcome is worth the work on this one, I promise!
I'm here to finally introduce myself. I'm Sam and have been watching for maybe about a year now. Every time you ask us to introduce ourselves I always say I'm going to to myself. Then guess what... I ALWAYS forget! lmaoooo HIIIIII

Josie Maran does not use any synthetic sense in her products and I do believe that you will absolutely love the body butter argan oil is so so good for us I just can't wait to hear your follow-up on it
I tried the Caliray mascara and just did not like it, it is the first tubing mascara which I wear every day that I don’t like. Everybody has different taste in mascara though and just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean someone else wouldn’t. I personally love the KVD one but just know you can only order it online.
There is no reason the tulip lights didn't come pre assembled! I love craft projects but that would infuriate me! Also juniper doesn't smell as sweet as berries I feel like it's a little musky (I suck at describing scents) but it's such a cozy smell to me!!
I miss your "buy or bye" videos! Would love to see them come back and with any brand of things -- make up, clothes, etc :)
Also the videos where she tests the new launches in the make up field! I really like Rachel, but lately her videos look all the same...
