      Yeah sailing across the Gulf in hurricane season might be pretty interesting.

    Great videos! I have just binge-watched your entire channel. Thinking of taking on a 24ft project myself that is in good working order but needs extensive body work. Have done some car restorations myself so have been thinking how hard can paint jobs be. Looking forward to seeing you finish the deck and cockpit and then move onto the Catalina.

      Thanks for watching! If you can roll paint and run a sander you can paint your boat. I would recommend Alexseal paint and the roll additive if your rolling it on. Also try to paint it when it’s below 85 degrees and not windy for best results. I’m not a rep for Alexseal, it just goes on better.

      The building has 12’ by 18’ doors on both ends so I just pulled right in. On painting under pads, you can take one off at a time and move it without any issues. only one at a time though.
