you are a great teacher. you dont spoon feed. you leave space for us to do what we do. "you do you" is the best tip for learning. thank you for another awesome, direct to the point, simple and fun tutorial! keep it up bro! i always try your tutorial and add em to my to learn stuff.
Hey Ryan, just wanna let you know that your videos are awesome and I'm always super entertained by them. To top it all off you have like 250 pj tutorials and that Is perfect.
Hey Ryan. Thank for this lesson.Subbed to your channel for almost.... I guess 4 years now. Anyway, been having this question for a while, but have you ever heard of days of the new, a post grunge band of the 90s? Cause I know you have lessons on Bush and silverchair for example but I never seen days of the new. I mean, if you could make a quest, can you please make a lesson for 'shelf in the room' one of their hits? Again thanks for the lessons dude. Really appreciate the effort
Ryan Great lesson. You got a million of them. You keep it moving and fun. Hey. Getting into guitar makes me love everything guitar. I'm thinking about a pedal. What do you think of the Electro-Harmonix Soul Food. Can sorta- beginners benefit from this? Also I wanna learn power chords. You got any vids?
hey thanks rich :) Can't say I'm much of a gear head, but I would recommend you watch the JHS show to learn everything you ever wanted to know about pedals :)
Could you tell us something about when you are muting the E top string an/or other strings? Also seems like you strum the full strings on some strums, and just some strings other strums.
Hey Ryan it’s been a while but could u pleeeeeeeeeaaaase do soundgardens underrated masterpiece ‘bootcamp’. I know the tuning is wack but the song means a lot and it would be epic!
Things are hard when you don't understand them. You just have to keep trying. They get easier. Im going to go fix Jen's toilet now. The first time I fixed a toilet it wasn't easy.
Nice, Thank you Brother. *Always loved this song, brings me back to this gorgeous girl I met and was trying to hook up with.. never got that one, but my God was she freaking so beautiful... Oh well, win some lose some
Maybe Dave just does not get the guitar it and should try a different instrument. I found your videos entertaining and i cant say that about many here on YT. You inject a certain humor i have not come accross before. But then again i dont get out much to interact with people so what do i know? I prefer the online world to real people. Real people are a disappointment to me, time and time again. So i just dont bother anymore. Covid lockdown drives you nuts? Welcome to my world as this is every day for me. I do enjoy a solitary bike ride accross europe. Some people can ride that distance but are not comfortable being inside their head alone for that long. Suckers. Wimps. Thanks for giving my day a bit of humor, ryan. And thanks for the great tips. Tips, which i think dave might miss now since he may have moved on. Hopefully not. I dont think he knows what he will be missing. His loss as the way you tackle teaching people guitar is rather fun. The way it should be. One more thing. I am a drummer now instead of a guitarist. I never was a guitarist. I play guitar but what comes out might not be described as music. I still dont know what chords are in what key so what chords i do know and can play rather well tend to sound disonant when played with other chords i know. I play music by means of learning lessons from peole that actually play the thing. I jsut play what others have done. All fun to m,e none the same. The day taylor hawkins died was the day i wanted to try drums. I dig it way more than guitar as i can actually do it. Had the money beat down on day one in time for more than just a bar. I was doing it. Now i have my own drum kit. I have to stop letting effective teachers, like you, take me back to a miserable existence on the guitar. I will never be neil young. I will never santana lol. At least i know my place. But i sure do love to strum and do it in time so this lesson is gold. Thanks. Just dont ask me to play anything i came up with :) Your students are lucky to have you i will say that.

Love it. needed an easy song to practice my e shape Barre chord!
With Edgerunners out now. you should do "this ffire" by Franz Ferdinand!
good idea!
Could you tell us something about when you are muting the E top string an/or other strings? Also seems like you strum the full strings on some strums, and just some strings other strums.
Anyone have any advice on not playing the high E string on that F chord?
Tasty gravy

Can u do no one else by weezer
yes.
please please please teach long road to ruin by foo fighters
I wish Eagle Eye Cherry had stayed around. I think he had real potential as a songwriter.
maybe he fell in
Are you muting some of the strums? There's a lot of texture in your playing that I can't achieve.
Adding mutes is definetly worth the trouble too
Hey Ryan it’s been a while but could u pleeeeeeeeeaaaase do soundgardens underrated masterpiece ‘bootcamp’. I know the tuning is wack but the song means a lot and it would be epic!
fantastic notion!
@@RyanLendt Right!!!!!
Sometimes my mind wants to believe there’s more to the song than this but do we really just play this on repeat? Nothing new for the chorus?
nothing at all
Holy crap. You're the voice of Kermit?
;)

just turn it around in your head and say you probably dodged a bullet :)
You made me mentally uneasy with that word so I had to stop and look up "perturbation."😁
i have no idea why that bubbled out of my brain.
